 Chapter Five: First Day on the Job//June 12th, 2019 ​

I was having a very nice dream until the sound of my phone ringing pulls me out of my sleep. For the last four years I've been all about school, knowing I don't have to get up for classes has me loving the sleep. Even though I'm not ready to be up, I answer anyway.

"Hello?" I answer sleepy

"Amanda?" It's James

(Phone Call Amanda-James)

I shoot up thinking I'm late to work but when I look at my alarm clock it only says 9AM. Why is he calling?

Uh yeah hi James, so sorry I was asleep

No problem. I was wondering if you'd be able to come in early, we've found a position for you and they'd like for you to start right away.

Sure no problem

I groan throwing myself back against the pillows. This cannot be happening!

I push myself up out of bed and head straight into the bathroom.

I strip off my clothes hopping in the shower. Doing my normal morning routine of washing my face and brushing my teeth then hop right back out. I'm excited to start working so I can start saving money to take my baby girl on a vacation for her birthday but I guess I just thought I'd get some kind of a break.

I leave the bathroom and walk over to my closet. James told me to stick with the style I've been wearing but this time I've decided to try something different.

Something professional yet sexy, I pull out a Mistress Rocks Exposure taupe cut out bandage dress with Stuart Weitzman The Highland knee high boots and an oversize denim jacket.
