She looked across the concrete playground at Duncan, such a typical crush it was almost shameful. One of the popular guys, of course cheesey yet seemed the most easy thing to do, never saying you wouldn't have a crush on someone popular is like jinxing it. Katie continued to shield her phone from teachers' views in her bag whilst shuffling her snow blue fringe, it never stayed to the side, gravity would not allow that of course .

She heard a chuckled behind her and was jolted into reality, Ned was laughing at Robert's knowledge of innuendo, he knew nothing, which was good but not if someone has just said you dickslapped a mouse. Which makes no sense but still. "Chris, quit it." Katie smirked whilst batting him round the head with her phone."It's not my fault he's a stupid ass!" Chris replied taking a gulp of Monster. Kay then jolted his drink all over him. "Ha! I got you wet! Wait wha-" "HEY EVERYBODY, KATIE GOT ME WET!" Chris screeched across the playground startling Rob and Ned into a fit of laughter."Quit it." Katie smirked again.

The bell rang 10 minutes later making Chris choke on the Mountain Dew. "He didn't even air it!" Ned accused.

"Well I hope he did that's the only thing I got for last lesson!" "What you got next?" Chris questioned. "Maths." Katie spoke unenthusiastically and wandered off towards D Block.

"Go sit next to Katie then!" Ralph smirked. "Fuck nah, I don't want Kebola!" Katie rolled her eyed and ignored the drama going on with the seat change. Teachers, 'used to be teenagers' the legend goes. Fuck that, they know nothing . "You should be mature enough to sit next to a girl." Just move him for God's sake! "I don't wanna sit next to anyone anyways..." Katie murmured.

The school's bell had gone for the end of the day, thank God it's Friday for real she thought. Katie rushed to the area outside of D Block to be greeted by a familar face across the small playground, Ciara! Katie was greeted by a hug as she approached her."Helloooww," CeCe enthused. "How was today?" "Shit." Katie replied matter of factly. "Fair enough!" She smirked. "So, let's walk?" Ciara remarked.

They began walking down the alley between the C Block building and slight hill, whilst they both popped their head phones in. "MCR?" Katie nodded in reply with a smile. They had just gotten out of the school when Kay noticed her ex, haven't really talked to him since he moved... "You still like Duncan?" "Yes..." Considering she was going out with Jack, she felt kind of ashamed at admitting it. "I'll never get him anyway, might as well try and move on with Jack." CeCe nodded in reply, trying to conecentrate as they walked across a zebra crossing.
