Katie woke up with a shiver down her spine and a sudden realization that it was in the past. Uncontrollable tears streamed down her face but she ignored it and waited for the light to flood in through her window. "Time to get up now baby!" She heard a voice call through the door. Katie flung hereyes open and sighed.
Her mum drove her into the laybuy of school then let herout of the car. "Have a nice day sweetie." Her mother smiled.
Katie got out of the car and started walking towards the gates, whenseeing hermum outa of sight she quickly shifted her route up the hill away from school. Shethen heardsomeone calling her from behind, shit. "Katieeee?!!!" Tyrell called. Katie began to walk faster and ignored him, she heard the voices fade and slipped into the alley to wait till first period.
40 minutes later she was jolted into reality by a stone being flicked at her." Tyrell was calling you yanno." Came a voice from the entrance of the alley. Katie looked up to see Duncan peering at her and scowled."Well hi!" She expressed unenthusiastically.
"Okay, I'll just go then." Duncan implyed.
Katie rolled her eyes."Want some skittles?"
"Sick." He stated and sat down oppsite her.
"Why you bunk anyways?" Dunk questioned.
" 'Tis shit."
"Fair enough." He said. "It is the last day though."
"Then why d'you bunk?"
Duncan shrugged then stole the skittles packet from her.
"Um, gimme." Katie growled slightly.
He seemed to show no sign of givingthem back so she gave up. This bitch... so... Kat quickly shook off her thoughts and attended to her phone which was calling song quotes to her. "Shhhh!" She murmured to her buzzing phone.
It had just hit 9 and Katie'sphone went crazy startling both her and Duncan. "Thefuck man?"
"It's Period 1, I'm going Prospect Park."
"Ooooh, don't get raped!" He smirked
"Then come with, pussy."
Duncan rised from his position and followed Kat back down the hill. "Calm your phone Katie!" Dunkcomplained asit started singingg again I'm not okayyyy-yyyy-y- she then anwered it tohere Jack's voice.
"Oh hey bae!" Kay smiled.
Duncan then smirked and started making dirty remarks downthe phone.
"Shut the fuck up!" Katie mouthed to him.
"Who's that? " Jack asked.
"Just some dumbass from schooolll..."
Duncan tilt his head, stuck his tongue out and flipped her off in triampth. Talk about overkill . Katie smirked at his reaction.
