My Love Letter to Death

Dear Death,

These words I must say to you

I need you, I crave you

You're flirty skirt waves about

I want to taste you

So I make myself bleed, just to feel your touch

A simple look, a lustful tease

I desire you, just like a fling

But you never let me touch you

You keep me near, like I'm a toy

But I'm addicted to the adrenaline

Of being held, intertwined between your arms

Look at me, I'm weak, I'm on my knees

Let me worship you, I don't need life

But you break my heart, you reject me

Like I have any purpose without you

Like we are toxic for each other

This is my love letter to you, my beautiful doll

Here I declare my sourful goodbye

To this sinful addiction

To this lethal affair

Until we meet again,

When the time is right

Sleep in peace my dear, I will be okay.

With Love,

Alma
