Why are they so fragile?
Falling off with just one touch
Like tiny wishes trying to reach the sky
They fly up and up and then BAM
Down they go like your hopes
Down they go like you dreams
Dandelions fall, they fail to survive
After seeing the sunrise they think, ok goodbye
Growing from another flower
They reach and kill that beauty of yellow
Stabbing the petals of what once was there
Looks like your wishes are heard by a murderer
You trust easy like always
For you make wishes on a weed
Invasive and uncontrollable
It hides underground and waits for spring to intervene
Dandelions are sensitive but so are you
So I guess it wasn't a surprise when this died so soon
