"UP AND ATEM." Justin's voice rang throughout the camp. He hooted and hollered in excitement. Nathan groaned. Already?
"Nathan, BRENT, JACKSON!" Justin had two pans and was banging them together.
"Babe..." Nathan contemplated waking her up. Get a goodbye kiss or let her sleep? Considering they were still both naked, he had to get dressed.
"Yeah..?" She cringed as her ears registered the clanging.
"I have to go..."
"No please..." She was still groggy from sleep. Her voice was rough. He slowly turned and pulled on his boxers and started getting dressed.
"I know... I know baby." When he got fully dressed he lay back next to her. She woke up more and opened her eyes.
"Gimme a kiss goodbye?"
"Lemme...lemme get dressed and I'll come out with you." She sat up and stretched.
"Alright." Before she got up, he kissed her neck and sucked hard. She let out a long sleepy moan.
"Nathan..."
"Yeah baby?" She chuckled.
"Now I really don't want you to leave."
"This one is to remind you of me." He smiled.
"And this one." Becca turned and moved his shirt collar, leaving a dark mark similar to hers. "Is to remind you of me and to remind all other girls you may encounter that you're mine."
"I'm yours babe. Last night proved that."
"Good." Giving him a quick kiss on the cheek, she got up to get dressed. Nathan threw all of his belongings in a bag and waited for her patiently. "Packed?"
"Yes. I am." Becca sighed sadly. "I know. I don't want to go."
"I know." She held out her hand. He took it and pulled her close for a long kiss. Becca's eyes began to water and a tear fell. When the tear graced his cheek, he went up and kissed each eye. Her cheeks reddened and she gave a sad chuckle.
"Thanks.."
"C'mon let's go out."
"Alright let's." Keeping his hand in hers, Becca unzipped the tent and stepped out into the sun. William was talking to Justin and his squad was waiting for Nathan. Nathan slipped his arm around Becca's waist as they walked over.
"Finally you decide to join us." William said glaring at Becca.
"Back off, William." Nathan spoke protectively. She wasn't William's territory anymore.
"Son, we have a schedule here. If you want to be safe before sunset, I suggest you listen."
"Fine." Nathan knew how to handle himself, he thought he made that clear the first night. He didn't need someone telling him what to do.
"You'll be heading into the city. There's an abandoned apartment complex that we've consistently had our scouts brush over considering its obvious structural integrity. But, it seems Nathan has had experience with the building and so, he's going to check it out, other members close behind." William pointed towards the city. "Justin knows the safest route, Nathan will take point from there. That's the extent of my planning. You can handle from there." He scowled at Becca before walking off. Becca muttered something under her breath. Nathan didn't want to know. He turned to her.
"The tent is yours, for however long this will last. If all he really wanted to do was raid the complex, and it's the one I'm thinking of, I'll be back the day after tomorrow, at the earliest, end of next week at the latest."
