Chp.5: The Confrontation!

As Raven and Rose are driving back home,they are both in they're own little worlds as to what they just learned from each other.

❁Raven's P.O.V❁
As we get out the car,we both slammed the car doors, though not hard enough for them to break. We walked towards the front door,we enter I placed my mothers car keys in the key holder,closing the door behind me as Rose stays close to me.
My mother was watching T.V and my father was in the kitchen, we passed the kitchen headed towards the living room  as Rose closes the door behind me.
I just interrupt them by clearing my throat very loudly making them know that we are there. *uuujjjuumm.*
"We need to talk,and we both need the whole truth!" I give a serious glare towards my mother and then  to my father.

Then my father,where in the kitchen he looks at his wife,my mother and speaks.
"Why don't we sit down a-and start at the beginning......" My dad stuttered a little bit while suggesting us towards the dinning room table.As my mother mutes the volume on the T.V.
Rose, my father, my mother and I head to the dinning room table.We all wait patiently until everyone is seated and ready before my father feels like is ready to begin and start talking. I sat in the left corner while Rose was next to me. My father sat in front of me and my mother besides him in front of Rose. You could feel the tension in the room, strong to probably make the air feel heavy but not to strong where it can cut through something.

"Well.. U-uh were to start?.. Um well let's see.. Uhh.. How do I put this... Well First of all we both come from a powerful line of witches." He says calmly and stops clearly having some trouble at finding the right words to continue. Also because the way I looked over to Rose clearly showing in her facial expression that she is surprised as to what she just heard and so was I. I hesitated for a moment before speaking. "Wh-wh-what do you mean? W-w-witches you say? Now that is something you don't hear everyday...How come you  guys never told me anything? How is this even possible. Guess there is much more to this world there is yet to discover. But like....I mean....I-I-is just I don't know... Ahh...." I trailed off and I could tell Rose was very confused herself too. Although she chose not to speak and my father continued.

"Well honey, ...for this exact same reason we didn't tell you." He continued slowly and calmly. "It was still too early for you to know and worry about these things. Also it is a very touchy and important subject that was only to be brought up when the time was right and..-"
I interrupted again looking towards my mother to see her reaction to this then back at my father. " w-when the time was right? What do you mean dad? Like c'mon aren't I Old enough to be trusted with things like this?" I looked glanced towards my mother and then towards my father, Rose was quiet the whole time just there. Listening. I think that if I had looked at her I swear she had a little smile on her face as if she was cherishing this little family moment no matter if it was serious. I continued "And - when is the right time? No. When where you thinking was the right time for you to start telling me this about...." I hesitated.. "..about witches and what not? Oh and I hope there is nothing else you guys are hiding from me that is this important because I swear I knock on wood.." I closed my right fist and kissed my knuckles and nocked on the wooden table. *toc toc* I  came to a stop when my father interrupted.

My father took a deep breath and heavenly sighed..
"Raven, first of all I understand how your feeling right now but as parents we decided when things are supposed to be right,when to talk about them, at what moment and how. Second we are not hiding anything we have always been honest and told you everything except  this because it was very important- it still is very important. Third we do understand that your old enough to handle something like this but, we didn't think we had to considering Rose wasn't here.. Now if you would let me continue explaining you would understand what I mean."
He glanced towards my mother then Rose and finally me.

I sighed.., nodding my head gesturing to go on and continue.

" okay than anyways, You're mother has the power of air and I have the power of water, that means that we are able to control any form of those elements. Now we don't know which power each of you will have,but your mother and I were never supposed to be together as witches. We were not able to love or marry a witch with a different element. As you can see we fell in love and ran away together,but there are powerful people that don't approve of what we have done. That's why when you were both born we were afraid of what they would do to you guys. Sadly we believed that Rose had passed away, because when you guys were taken to the nursery that's when Rose had "died" but obviously as we can tell she was actually replaced by another baby that was actually the dead one and we still don't know till this day who it was.. That's why We never told you anything because we thought that since your other half was "dead" we would not of thought you were going to be able to have anything magical power. Now if you were to have a power even without your sister.. We would not have known until later.." He trailed off glancing towards my mother.. "But Now we are facing a different outcome."

I then looked at Rose and we both just by looking at each other formed the same question so I brought myself to ask.
"Are we in danger now that we are together?" then my mother answers
"You're not in danger until you reach your magical stage" then Rose anxiously looks at my parents and asks
"When will this be?" My mother answers "That's still unknown to us but,probably during your late teenage years into adulthood or in other words between your 18-20's which is close because you guys are 17 now... And Raven that was what your father meant by not telling you when the time would be right because even if you had a magical power we wouldn't know until that age therefore we had decided not to say anything unless we saw you having any abilities of some sort. We had also decided not to mention anything about your sister as much as it hurt." She looked at Rose and me with a sad look and then gave us a dad smile. Then she continued "So In more ways than one,you guys were fortunate enough to find each other especially during the time of your coming of age and development of powers."

My father than questions Rose.
"Could you please if it doesn't bother you tell us a little bit about your mother and father?."
Rose calmly with a smile on her face answers.
"Well my mothers name is Violet Hawkins." Then my mother interrupts and Screams of excitement "Ahhhh *gasps*,So your mother is  THE famous designer Violet Hawkins?!?"
Rose answers "How did you know?"
Then my mom replies "Well i saw her work on one of the famous designers home magazines,and she is really great. She's One of my favorite home designer too.. Is she really that down to earth?" My mom says with excitement and her eyes sparkling of happiness. 
"Yes we love spending time on the garden together and we both enjoy the outdoors." Rose said. Then I join in "Omg, that's great to hear!! I'm not a big fan of home design magazines like my mother but she definitely is great and -"
Then my dad interrupts our girl talk and asks Rose " Sorry to interrupt this lovely moment but What about your father?" I noticed that Rose face of happiness about her mother dimmed a little but I can see that she was trying really hard for us not to notice by showing us a smile.
"Well my father is a business man.. I mean he is well know in his field of work and he works for the stocks exchange." Rose replied.
My father moods his head as if satisfied with the answer and I can tell he decides it is enough for now so he suggested to go to my room and hang out while they prepared dinner. Therefore Rose and I decide to go to my/our room and let my parents talk. Like that we can also get to know each other and process some things out!

❁Airlyn's P.O.V❁
As my husband and I are in the kitchen preparing dinner i tell him..
"Was it me or did you see the minor change in Rose's face when she talked about her father."

Then my husband answers
" Yes..,There seems to be more of a closeness to her mother than to her father. Also the way she talked about him.. The slight change of expression on her face... I wonder What's behind that?"

Okay so it took me like 2 years to update this considering my last update was in 2014 and it is 2016 but I'm back hopefully now I can update a bit more. I hope you guys are liking it so far. Please don't forget to support me on this. Comment what you think will happen next/what you think so far of it or tell me if I misspelled anything I would appreciate it so much.
