Chp.2 : The Truth About Us!

I got home from school from a stormy day, I decided to go up to my room and change into some comfy clothes. After, I went down stairs and into the kitchen to get some munchies because I was starving. I hadn't eaten anything at lunch, my mind was somewhere else the whole day thinking about that dream and the excruciating pain in my wrist.

I went into the living room and laid in the couch. As I laid there I turned the T.V on to watch the ABC channel. A few minutes later I find myself drifting off to sleep with no worries of homework on a Friday afternoon with a long weekend ahead of me...

I wake up to the sound of a door knock wondering how long I been sleeping..and then another knock. As I got up I look up to the wall where the T.V was still on to see what time it was and damn it was already 6.

I think that it can't be my mother because she doesn't come out of work until 7:30 or so. Nor it could of been my father because he worked until late too.

It most definitely wasn't Ares either because he was going home to get out of the ton of homework he had and I can also tell he wanted to give me some space, due to the fact that I had that bad nightmare even though I didn't tell him exactly the details at all, he knew somewhat, especially from the mark on my wrist. He always understood me.
Anyways I wonder who could it be out in this terrible weather. The rain and strong wind were making loud crashing noises outside.

So with my laziness I drag myself to the door. I opened the door and to my astonishment I see the girl from my dreams. I know for a fact it was her, It was like looking in a mirror.

Then gradually the realization of what I was seeing processed through my fogy thoughts, as she also realized the truth of the reason why she had come. She glanced at me "H-Hi I'm Rose" i looked at her for one more second and I stuttered "Ohh uh, c-c-come in!"
I mean I know she was still a stranger and all but she couldn't stay outside, that would be bad manners of me.
She was like a mirror in front of me, there had to be an explanation for this so my curiosity kicked in. She closes the door, as she walked in Since it was still raining, she was drenched in water and it was dripping from her hair and clothing on to the floor.

Then I tell her "Follow me".
Before I get to the kitchen I came to a stop and I hand her a towel from the hallway closet as she dried her soaking hair.
I crossed my arms and leaned on the wall while she dried herself and all I could do is stare and wonder what changes were going to occur in my life.

"Soo.. I know your name is Raven." Rose said, I replied in a surprising voice "..Yes. Indeed, well.. I mean, It most certainly looks like you know more than I do." *sighs* I giggled a little so the atmosphere wouldn't be so tense, but in all honestly in my head I rolled my eyes.

She giggle a bit. "Well I'm just here to tell you the truth. The truth about us, as soon as I found out about you I came here to meet you. I mean yeah it's creepy, unexpected and out of the blue but I couldn't wait and I really needed to get this out and over with."
She continues "Why don't we sit down, we have a lot to talk about."

"Alright, lets go to the living room." I replied and lead the way. As we sat down, i grabbed the remote control and I turned the T.V off since it was still on from when I woke up. I threw the remote control to the other couch, failing miserably since it bumped with the corner of the cushion and onto the floor. We both reacted and squirmed at the loud sound.
"Ugh.." I let out an irritated sound. Rose giggled a bit. I couldn't blame her.
"Eso me pasa por showing off. " ( That's what I get for showing off. ) I mumbled in Spanish. I grabbed the control and placed it on the T.V table.

I then looked at her and we laughed for a few seconds. "Sorry...Okay, I'm all ears." And as I said that I got comfy in the couch.
Rose takes a deep breath, she looks at me and says "I don't have to tell you that we're twins because it's pretty obvious but, I don't know if you knew about me?"
