Chapter 5: Starting it off nice

It's the start of summer break, since Loki and I share a room, I have to wake her up.

I nudge her a bit, I feel kinda bad because she looks peaceful. Like she has no stressful things to deal with. She slowly blinks and says,

"Leave me aloooonnneeeee, it's teerrmmm breaaaakkkk," she whines. I chuckle a bit.

"Well yeah, but it's 11:00am." I answer back

"Soooo? Ever heard of enjoying yourself? Early bird." She says.

I was always an early bird, I enjoyed mornings a lot more than nights. On the other hand. Loki hates mornings, she despises them.

I pull off the blanket and she hisses a bit. But, she is a frost giant, so she doesn't feel cold that easily. Damn, this is gonna be harder than I thought. I know. I'll cal Thor and scare her out of bed. How hard can it be to scare a going to be 17 year old? Not that hard.

Thor came into the room with a childish grin on his face, he crept up to Loki and went,

"BOO!" He screamed. I'm pretty sure even the dead can hear him.

Loki jumped, but something happened, she now has cat ears and a tail. And her teeth were sharper than usual.

"Ah shit!" She says

"Thor you asshole!" She screams
Thor giggles and walks away.

"What..? Happened..??" I asked, clearly confused.

"When I get scared, like really scared, I turn into this half cat thing. And won't change back until, 11:28 tomorrow. She says scratching her ear.

"Uhm... Peter?" She says pointing at my nose.

Oh shit- it's bleeding.

"Huh? Oh Jesus fuck!" I say covering my nose and rushing to the bathroom. I heard a small chuckle before her footsteps fade away.

Fuck fuck fuck. I did NOT just have a nose bleed from my best friend. Nope! After washing up I go downstairs and greet the very tired and confused avengers. Except those two-

"Heya Peter!"

"Hi Peter."

Mr. Barnes and Mr. Rogers say, they just came back from a jog. Mr Falcon comes in, drenched with sweat.

"Yo-You guys a-are trying to-to kill me!" He says pointing at Steve and Bucky.

They laugh and walk away.

Something taps my head. Oh it's Loki.

"Hey, what's that?" I say pointing at a plate full of food.

"Your breakfast. Now eat. You have training with me today." She says handing me the plate.

I love Loki's breakfast. She always makes the best. Once I'm done stuffing my face with food, I head to the training rooms. I meet Loki and Wanda there.

We start of with some simple exercises, Loki throwing harmless bolts of magic at me, I'm trying to dodge them, Wanda creating illusions to distract me, I swear these girls just wants to see me suffer.

Once we're done, Loki heads off to the shower once more and i head to the other shower. Wanda uses her magic to clean herself.

I step into the shower and turn on the faucet, hot water runs down my back, I flinch a little at the sudden temperature change.

Once I'm done with that, I change into a normal hoodie and sweat pants.

I go back to my room and see Loki on her bed in a cat onesie, although she already is a half cat. She was reading something, a book about Norse mythology. I sit next to her.

"Why are you reading this? Don't you know all of it already?" I ask.

She shrugs and says

"A lot of these are lies. And just look at how they picture me! I don't like chaos that much-" before she could finish I cut her off.

"No you do like chaos that much." I say poking her waist . She giggles and smacks my hand away, she also flinches a bit but I brush it off.

Sooner or later, she is asleep on my shoulder. Her tiny breaths brushing against my hoodie and neck. It feels almost welcoming... I slowly place her head onto my lap and she quickly curls into a ball. After a while, I found myself reading the book about Norse mythology.
