There's only a few minutes left until we can go home. My eyes dancing from the teacher to the clock every five seconds. Just as the bell rings, the teacher says,
"The bell doesn't dismiss you, I do. As you know, there was a bake sale year, when we finished counting the money, we realised it was enough for a field trip somewhere nice," he didn't get to finish talking when the students started to cheer.
"We will be going to, Stark Towers!"
My jaw dropped, in a bad way. Loki and I shared looks from across the room that read, 'we're fucked.' Flash had an ass-eating grin on his face. He waited for the other students to leave, leaving him, me and Loki in a room.
"Just you wait Penis. I'm going to prove your whole internship a lie! And I'll be the one ending up with it. You got that? Good. Faggot." He scowls walking away. Loki raises a fist but I told her it wasn't worth it. I said that I had detention so I had to stay back, she had cheerleading so she went off into the gym.
-week skip-
Today is the day of the field trip, oh no. I sit next to Ned in the bus and he questions me,
"Why are you taking a field trip in your own hom-" before he could finish I cover his mouth
"shh, I can't let anyone know about my dad." I whisper He nods. Mj is sitting next to the other nerds and Loki is sitting next to Phillip. Honestly he looks really good. With black combat boots and multiple chains. Her hair reached below her waist around her thighs. The bus came to a stop and the tour guide guided us inside, although I'm pretty sure he doesn't know where he is going because he had to ask the front desk for instructions. The first stop was level 6. He was given a yellow card that he used for the elevator, once we got there, all students except for Loki and I stared in excitement, for there were robots everywhere , tweaking suits. Each floor was dedicated to a hero, my floor was on the 8th and Loki's 10th. I knew she would be embarrassed because she never came out to anyone on being gender fluid, most of the floor was her as a guy. Only I and the avengers know.
Flash walked up to me. Oh no. I wanted to run, then Loki stepped in front.
"Piss off flash!" She told him.
He wanted to punch me. Why? I don't know, ask him. He walked away without saying a word. She then told me how I don't ever stand up for myself. Honestly I'm afraid to do so. After we were done with that, we headed to Capsicle's floor.
Everything was normal. American flags everywhere. Loki looked like she was gonna turn into a cat and leave, but she wouldn't leave without me so she stayed. We started to go up. Towards the 8th floor. Flash looked excited as hell and Loki still looked bored. Mj was reading and Ned was trying to kiss his tall girl friend, who is 6 ft. Once we reached the floor, Loki used her magic to cover up my name from any exhibits. She winked at me, I went pink. I was smiling like a goof. Flash was running around and Loki was reading one of the signs. Damn, the spotlight was on her.
Then my dad, Thor and Mr.Banner walked in.
"Hey kid." My dad says ruffling with my hair.
"SISTER!" Thor yelled.
Loki flinched a bit before she was tackled into a bone crushing hug. The class took out their phones. Loki was lifted off the ground. She stared at Thor with a look saying 'imgonnamurderyoulater.' Thor was terrified by this and put her down. She stepped on his foot. The class snickered as he said ow, then started apologising.
"Class. Who here is called Flash?" My dad calls out.
Flash raises his hand excitingly.
"Good to know."
He put it down in shame. Loki was busy scolding Thor because he didn't go for the head ( for another mission, not infinity war ;-;) the teacher thanked the avengers and headed up to the 10th floor, since the 9th floor was under construction. Loki was looking to the side. She was still really nervous about the class finding out about her being gender fluid. I put an arm around her and gave her a reassuring smile. She smiled back and looked down. As we reached the floor the class looked in amazement, then stared at Loki. She didn't like having any attention on her, which I like. She was trying not to look at them, they stepped out of the elevator and looked around wide-eyed. Then a student named Marie walked up to Loki.
"Woah... you're gender fluid?" She said
"I-yeah..." she answered back, looking back down.
"That's cool!" She says, she looks at us and sees how I have an arm around her.
"So are you guys like a thing now?" She asks. We both go bright red, I remove my hand and wave around,
"No!" We both say synchronised.
"Whatever you say." She says walking away.
We look at each other and laugh a bit. Sooner than we realise, the field trip was over. And it was term break.
