My destiny (Jackbum FF +16)

Chapter 7

Jackson

Jaebum and Youngjae step in the living room. Jaebum calls for Yugyeom and the two of them head to the kitchen to cook, ramen if I heard it right.

My stomach grumbles. I didn't even notice, I was hungry. The hot "workout" surely made me hungry. I smirk as I think about that special little "workout". I hope they cook it fast because their ramen is the best. Although, Wonho's ramen is delicious too. Well I don't really care I just want a good ramen with a large amount of pasta. Pasta is the best thing in the dish if it's long and nutritious.

"Jackson!"

Mark's voice gets me out of my mind. He is holding one of the PS controllers. It seems he and Bambam are done with their Mortal Kombat match. I take the controller and choose a fighter. The game began and Mark focused on the TV. He is the best player among us. I beat him once, it was the best thing. Mark is the best player in the game, but the worst to accept, that he lost a match. I swear when I beat him his face turned red from anger. He looked like a totato. Jaebum noticed it and he could calm him down before he would throw the controller and break it.

All of us love to game sometimes in our free time. Youngjae and I are more into story-based games and the others are more into competitive and fighting games. I can remember endless nights, when Youngjae and I were down here covered in blankets and played stories like God of War or the whole Uncharted series. Those nights will always be beautiful memories.

We sometimes get together with other bands, since we're good friends with BTS and Monsta X. When we are by them or they are over at our place there's always a huge competition in games, like Mortal Kombat or FIFA. FIFA is one of all our favourite games and it is frequently part of the competition, since a lot of us are really good in it. Shownu already joked about beating everyone in it, which is pretty much impossible, because he is one of the worst players. But he is much better in Mortal. He and Mark have an ongoing fight, which of them win more matches. I think to defeat Shownu in Mortal is Marks biggest challenge.

"Yesss!! I've beat you again!"

I jump out of my mind and see that he has won. He is smiling like there are no negative things in the world. I hug him, congratulate him and get up to go see what's up in the kitchen and maybe I can steal a little food.

As I get closer to the kitchen, I see that the two of them are talking and Jaebum is showing his back to me. So, I try to be as silent as I can and when Yugyeom notices me I put my finger before my mouth, so he doesn't say it to Jaebum. I walk closer slowly and Yugyeom turns to the vegetables that he is chopping.

When I'm behind Jaebum, I slide my hands around him and hug him.

"Hello baby." My voice gets deeper as I call him.

"Jackson!" says Jaebum surprised. "You freaked me out. I almost cut my finger!"

"That wasn't my intention baby, I just wanted to see what's up with the meal, because I'm getting really hungry and you know, how much I misbehave, when I'm hungry."

Yugyeom's face next to us goes red and he lets out a little grin. He knows exactly what I am talking about and I think he likes what I said, at least it looks like that.

"Jackson, dinner is almost ready, so why don't you arrange the table and put out everything?" says Jaebum.

"Okay Babyboy." I say with a grin on my face because I know I will be punished that I called him Babyboy. I can see his muscles moving as he hardens his grip around the plate but then he relaxes again.

As I walk out of the kitchen, I can hear Yugyeom bursts out laughing. "Babyboy? That's so cute Jaebumie!"

Jaebum looks at him and says. "Don't laugh Geomie, not only Jackson can get a punishment but you too."

"It's not a punishment what the punished person enjoys Jaebumie" winks Yugyeom at him.

"Just cut those vegetables please." Sighs Jaebum.

The table is set fast as there are not much to prepare other than the chop sticks. The ramen is on the table and it looks extremely delicious. The others sat to the table too and everyone gets his portion.

Jaebum explains some things.

"Today's practice was very good. We were in harmony and everything went smooth. We are I think pretty much prepared for the World Tour. Tomorrow is again an exhausting practice day and the day after that we are welcomed at the Monsta X dorm as usual. I saw you guys already prepared for that" a small smile appers on his face and his eyes are filled with warmth. "I'm excited and happy that we could arrange that meetup despite our schedules. But enough of the talking, lets eat!"

He summed up everyone's opinion and we all agree and start to eat. The ramen is delicious as always and it fills my stomach and satisfies my hunger. But I'm hungry at a different thing too.
