Chapter 4

Jaebum 

All the boys are gathered in the living room waiting patiently, but Mark and Bambam is missing. As we enter the living room, I turn around immediately and go back upstairs to get them.

"I'll be right back, hopefully with the two of them or else they ass will be kicked."

"Don't be angry at them." I can hear Youngjae's voice from the living room.

I knock on their door.

"Mark, Bambam, I don't care if you have on something or not, I'm coming in."

I enter the room and see the two of them in their clothes on Mark's bed asleep. Their hair is wet, could be from a shower. Okay, they knew that they need to be ready, that's good. My anger fades away. I slowly approach them and kneel beside the bed.

"Mark, wake up babyboy." I caress his hair with my fingers.

His eyes start to shutter, and an uncomfortable moan left his mouth. He is starting to wake up. Bambam is halfway sleeping on him, he wakes up, as soon as Mark starts to move. He opens his eyes and looks at me with a sleepy expression on his face.

"Jaebum hyung, what are you doing here?"

"We need to go to practice. Get up and come down, the others are waiting, and I think they have some food for you guys too."

Their eyes light up when I mention food. They must be very hungry.

"We'll be right there Jaebum, just give us 5 minutes."

"Okay, in 5 minutes."

I go back downstairs and, in the kitchen, to prepare food for them.

"Yugyeomie, could you please help prepare the food?"

They come in the kitchen and sit on the seats around us as we start to make something for them. Youngjae and Jinyoung look hungry.

"Why didn't you guys eat something? You could have made something for yourself."

Jinyoung looks at Youngjae and they answer together.

"We wanted to wait for you guys, but it seems, you already ate, little birds said so, that Jackson and you are already full."

They started to giggle, and Jackson spanked Jinyoung

"What in the world! Bad boy!" he sounded not at all angry, in fact, he couldn't stop smiling.

"Hey Jackson, it's just what little birds said. We've got nothing to do with it!" a shy smile appeared on Jinyoung's face and he winked at me.

These kids! I stir the eggs till they harden a little, then I put them on plates and serve it to them. Two more plates are filled and Mark and Bambam appear in the room. Their eyes are fixed on the food.

"Come here, have some." I point at the two plates.

They take a seat and begin to eat. Not long after that, everything is eaten, and they all look happy. Sometimes, I feel like a father. My mind is wondering, but Jacksons voice gets me back in reality.

"So, what is the program today?"

We gather in the living room and all of them look at me.

"So, since Call my name came out last week, today we will start with an intense warm up session, then we go through every choreography, especially Crash and Burn and Thursday because as you guys know, next week we have a choreography video making project and those two choreographies are the important ones for that. We must go through Hard Carry again and Zero and Paradise can't be left out either, so we must work hard today. Are you guys ready? Can we go?"

"Yes" all of them answer.

We gather around in a circle, put our hands together and chant

"We are GOT7, let's go AHGASE"

Then we gather in the car and drive off to the practice room.

Bambam and Mark fall asleep instantly. My phone starts to buzz, so I check my messages. Shownu's name pops up.

Shownu: "Hey Jaebum, what's up?"

Jaebum: "Nothing much, we are heading off to practice. What's up with you and the rest of the members? I haven't heard of you guys for a long time."

Shownu: "Oh, we are okay. I mean we've got a little rest, the youngs are tired and with the current situation its so much stress."

Jaebum: "I can totally understand that, take as much time as you need. The fans are surely waiting for you."

Shownu: "Thanks 😊, you're such a good friend. I don't know what I would do without you."

Jaebum: "That's nothing, you guys help us always, that's just returning the favour 😊"

Shownu: "Thanks again, we are always there for you guys."

Jaebum: "And so are we too 😊, but we arrived at the practice room, I'll be sure to text later. Have a good day."

Shownu: "Have a good day too. And have fun practicing 😊"

I put my phone away and we got out of the car. Todays practice will be hard.
