I woke up and got ready . I put on jeans and a purple shirt . I brushed my hair back , through on my dog tags and tied my black converses .

I ate breakfast and ran out the door with my skate board .

I went down to the little candy shop that we pasted on the way to the park .
I pulled out a crinkled up one dollar bill out of my pocket and bought a jawbreaker .

I started to head back when , "Hey cutie." I turned around to see three girls behind me ."Um can I help you ?" I asked . "Where do you think your goin ?" A tall girl with puffy red hair and freckles asked me with a creepy smirk on her face. "I ..uh ..I uh ..." I turned around and started to skate faster than before . I knew I was in trouble . I had girls like this at my old school and the best thing to do is run and hide.

I took a sharp turn at a corner and could still hear there footsteps behind me witch sent a chill up my spine .

I saw double dee , Ed and Eddy outside .
"shit!" . I tripped on a rock and fell to the ground . "Oh dear, Max !" Double dee rushed over to me . "Are you ok?" I sighed in pain ,"yeah I'm find ." He squeaked ."Your bleeding !" He inspected the cut on my knee. "I'm fine ... I'm fine really ."

"There he is girls !" Shit not them again .
"Kankers !" Double dee yelped . "Kankers ?! Come on lumpy lets go !" Eddy screamed . Ed grabbed double dee by the shirts and pulled him into the house ."Not today ." He said with a frown . "But Ed what about Max ." Double complained . "He'll get over it sock head ." I really was starting to hate eddy .

Right as I was about to get up I came face to face with the drooling girls . What the hell is going to happen ? I'm a Virgin I don't want to be a part of some kind of three some !!!

"Hey cupcake pucker up ." A girl with short blue hair began to apply lip stick to her face . "Hey get off !" I pushed them off me .

Nazz , Johnny , Rolf ,Sarah and Jimmy were all watching Kevin do stunts on his bike . "Wow that's super cool Kevin ." Nazz remarked . Johnny pointed over were Max and the Kankers were ," Hey what's happening over there ."
Jimmy hugged Sarah
"Oh no , save me Sarah !"
"The Max boy needs our help." "Oh no Kevin do something!" Kevin turned around .
"Hey what are you dorks gawking at ?.....shit !"

"You guys go inside."they went to Sarah's and waited for Kevin to return to hear about what happened .

///Max Pov ///

I reached for my board (witch was now broken in half)
and grabbed a piece of it . I took the chunk of wood and hit the blue haired one in the side of her head . She put her hand on her head and looked at the red liquid on her hand , then she made a fist . "You shouldn't have done that!" I watched the blood run down her face as she pulled her arm back high and before she could strike ,"Hey !" I turned my head . I was so glad to see Kevin walking towards us rolling up his sleeves . He kicked the girl in the side and she fell off of me so I could get up . He reached for my hand and pulled me up . "Why I odda!" The girls stepped forward . Kevin pulled me in close to his body and whispered in my ear "when I punch her ...you run . Got it ?" I nodded.
He took a swing at the tall ones face "go !" He grabbed my arm and I ran behind him . "Hey I ain't done with you !" She held her eye and chased after us .

Kevin (still holding a firm grip on my arm ) swung open his front door and pushed me in . He locked it behinds us , we were both breathing heavily .
"Uh Kevin ....my arm ."
"Oh right ...sorry ." He released my arm from his strong grip . "You ok ?"
"Yeah ."
He looked down at my knee
"No your not , sit down !" He yelled at me . I quickly sat down .
"I'm fine really it's just a scratch ."
He dabbed my scar with a wet rag . "Why do you care so much about a little scar ?" He didn't answer . After a little bit of awkward silence he spoke.

"I hate those Kankers , I'm just tiered of people getting hurt because of them ."

"Uhh...I should get home ...um thanks for ... Well everything ."
"I'll walk you ." We went outside after checking if they were gone . He walked me across the street , "See you later ." He did that thing that guys do where they shake your hand then hug you, while patting you on the back .
Then he left to find the others . "Bye ." I whispered before locking my front door .

"OMG Max ! What happened to you ...and your board ?! Are you ok ?! " Maddy said as she through her book on the ground and ran over to me .

Things were different between us now , we get along really good and we hang out more .

"I'm ok ." I put my board in the trash can and limped over to the couch .
"What happened ?"
"These girls jumped me , if it wasn't for Kevin ...well I don't know ."
"Oh my that's terrible ! Imma find those girls and I'll ...I'll ... I don't know what I'll do , but "
I interrupted her ," hey it's ok I'm fine , let's just watch tv ."
