Khai's POV
Ohh ok so tama nga ako kapatid nila si ate gurl or half sister nga pala.
Well anyare naging mabait nalang bigla baka ibang ate gurl na ito ah.
"Gutom na ba kayo guys nag order kami ng pizza eh na bored lang kami" sabi ko
"If willing to wait kayo makikain nalang kayo its fine no biggie" sabi ni James
Hinintay namin yung pizza bigla nalang tumabi sa akin si Ate gurl.
"Khai right?" Tanong nya
"Yup Jayden Khai actually" sagot ko
"Alam mo ba magkarhyme pangalan natin Khai and Kaye oh dba?"
"Well kinda??" Tipid kong sagot
Ang akward naman tong kausap kung ano ano nalang sinasabi.
"Look gusto ko lang magsorry. For how I acted a while ago. Its not acceptable and I am also hoping that we could be friends?" Tanong nya
"Hmmm why not?" Sagot ko
"Yay! Thanks a lot! Its just nice to make new friends!"
Ok kalma kalang Ate gurl.
Sa wakas dumating na yung pizza pero katabi ko pa rin si Ate Gurl
She just talked about herself and I should stop calling her Ate Gurl because she is 2years younger than me.
Pero seriously she should be talking to Denver or Danica so that she will know them well. Nag aadjust palang ata sila so I cant also blame them but my gosh ang dami talaga pinagtatanong ni Kaye like Who is my favourite singer? Actor? Movie? Food? Stuff like that.
Im just trying not to make this conversation more interesting.
Sa wakas it was time for us to go home its getting late.
Bago sila umuwi Kaye asked my number,well binigay ko nalang baka mas ok lang to kausap sa text kaysa personal.
And I also checked my messsages hindi na nag message si Chubz
Ano na ghosting lang ang peg?
Well that person was just a total stranger so why should I care?
Ok so I just texted Chubz
"Hey stranger friend! You good?"
Still no response.....
I felt someone pulling my shirt back
And it was Drake
"Hep san ka pupunta? We have to talk" sabi nya
"Cant it wait? Im kinda sleepy tho"
"Nope halika nga"
Hinila nya ako papunta sa bahay nila and andun ang Team pati din si Dhrei
"Whats goin on??"
"Nakalimutan mo na ba its almost April 21" sabi ni Drake
"So???? Tipid kong sagot
"Maka soo ohh? Kunware kapa Jayden" sabi ni Dhrei
Like legit I have no idea whats going on right now seriously.
"Its Danica's birthday you idiot" sabi ni James
Ohhhh ok now I remember
Actually I do not want to remember that.
"Ohh ok I remember" sabi ko
"We are going to suprise her" sabi ni Karl
"So we need all the Team members to be here at that day." Sabi ni Renz
"Tayo tayo lang nakakalam neto Denver and her half sister Kaye doesnt even know about this plan" paliwanag ni Drake.
So Drake explained the plan
It was simple kasi we just want to acknowledge her birthday hindi kami masyadong magcecelebrate kasi nga sa situation nila ngayon.
So after that nagsiuwian na kami
Bigla nalang ako tinawag ni Dhrei
"Jayden, alam kong hindi kaau maayos ni Danica pero just this once be nice to her. I dont think she deserves this kind of situation. To make it short Danica needs a friend like you." Sabi ni Dhrei
I was shocked what he just said.
Maybe he was just concerned about his girlfriend.
May soft side din tong si Dhrei ah.
Tumango lang ako and umalis na.
Nakauwi na din ako and nakahiga na I keep thinking why Dhrei said that.
Im nice naman to her ah? I even gave her a ride isnt that enough? Hay nako.
And I checked my messages still no response from Chubz pero I can see a lot of messages from Kaye.
"Hey! Khai whats up?"
"Are you still up?"
"Helllooo Jayden Khai its me Kaye Dian save my number will ya?"
Di ko muna rereplyan makatulog na nga.
Danica's POV
Im really tired I just wanna sleep for a long time.
"Kaye! Dito pala ang guest bedroom. Just tell me or Denver if you need anything." Sabi ko
"Thanks Danica! I always wanted a big sister to look out for me. Denver must be lucky to have you as his older sister" sabi nya
Hey im not that old yet but yeah she is right. I just smiled and said.
"No problem. Goodnight!"
Hay nako I need a break from all this.
All these things going on.
Theres just too much on my mind right now. Inhale... Exhale...
⏭Fast forward 1 week later⏭
"Happy Birthday To you Happy birthday to you Happy Birthday Happy birthday to you!!!"
I just woke up and I saw Denver and Kaye may dalang Cake.
Oh is it my birthday?? Di ko na namalayan sa dami dami na nangyayari I even forgot my own birthday.
"Thank you guys I really appreciate it." Sabi ko
Well yeah things are pretty good lately. Medyo nakilala na namin si Kaye. She is not that bad after all pero Im still curious why does she talks to Jayden Khai.
Pero si Papa and Kuya nasa hospital pa din. One time gumalaw daw kamay ni Kuya but after that no improvements.
So naghanda na kami papuntang hospital.
Pagpasok namin sa room may dala ding Cake si Mama.
"Happy Birthday to you, Happy birthday to you!"
Kumanta silang tatlo and I blew the candle.
My only wish is sana gumising na sila Papa and Kuya.
Then it was time for us to go home.
Time flies so fast. Sana ganun din ka bilis ang recovery nila Papa and Kuya.
Pagdating namin sa bahay andun ang buong Team naka abang sa amin.
We were all shocked.
As Rica hands me the Cake
"Happy Birthday To you! Happy birthday to you!!"
Im just happy that the whole Team is here. It completed my birthday
"Thank you guys! Nag abala pa kayo" sabi ko
" We dont want to miss any Team birthdays diba?" Sabi ni Shean
"And we also wanted to cheer you up hearing you are not in a good situation right now" sabi ni Greg
Just seeing them all together makes my heart happy but it became sad again when I saw Jayden and Kaye talking. It seems like they got along pretty well huh.
I should not be sad it is my day my birthday! Even tho I almost forgot it but yeah it is still my day!
Im just lucky to have them my family my friends to help me remember my day.
Pumasok muna ako and pumunta sa garden para mapagisa
And I heard a voice from behind saying.
"Thats why it is called Happy birthday because you should be Happy" sabi ni Jayden
Wait what are you doing here? Is he really talking to me. Hmm baka ngayon lang to kasi birthday ko.
"Hahaha im not sad im just thinking"
Sabi ko
"Hmm this is not a good place to think tara?" He asked me to go with him
Nagdadalawang isip pa ako if sasama ba ako baka kasi he was just forced by the team to do this.
Why am I overthinking just grab his hand already.
