Chapter Ten: I'm Aaron

Tuesday, 11:47am (Lisa's P.O.V)

I saw Aria, she sat two rows in front of me. The class went by fast, I kept thinking about how I would make Aria my friend, and before I knew it the period ended and the bell rang. It was lunch time and I caught Aria outside of class.

"Hey Aria, can I talk to you?" I said.

"Sure, Lisa" she said.

"When did you become a vampire?" I asked her.

"Like 3 or 4 days ago I believe" she said.

"OH, I thought you were one way longer than that. I meant to ask you how do you last an entire day without blood and can sit there at lunch with humans and not go crazy" I said.

"Well, I use to be human like them. Now that might be a problem. Can I sit on the steps with you at lunch time and the two of us can drink blood?" she asked.

"How do you know I go on the steps at lunch time to drink blood?" I asked her.

"I saw you once" she said.

"Oh, well sure. I'd love some company" I said and we went towards the steps.

Once we got there, we sat down and took out our blood bags. Her's was AB+. Mine was A-. We talked about Kate and Fang Club. It was really nice, for once I had company. Before the bell rang, she agreed that I can be her right hand vampire at Fang Club and I laughed. I haven't laughed in months....

11:37pm (Aria's P.O.V)

My parents just fell asleep and I could sneak out. I had to go back to Fang Club. It was one of my responsibilities now. There was going to be a party to celebrate that the wolfs were defeated and afterwards a memorial for the vampires that were killed. When I got there, I opened the door and was immediately greeted by Lisa, my right hand at Fang Club. She would fill me in on the news, or what's going on currently at Fang Club.

"Aria! Big news! There's a new vampire that just moved to this area and came to Fang Club. He met one of our vampires and he filled him in about Fang Club" she said.

"So what am I suppose to do?" I asked her taking off my coat.

It was raining. The thunder was loud and it was a perfect night for a party. The air was filled with excitement, like something big would happen tonight and I was afraid what that would be.

"Well, as the leader, you should introduce yourself. That's what Kate always did" she said.

That was enough to make me agree.

"Where is he?" I asked.

"I think in the bathroom. Maybe you should wait until he comes here" she said.

"Nah, I don't care. I'll just wait outside the bathroom, in the hallway" I said.

I walked towards the hallway. It was completely empty. Everyone was either in the living room or upstairs. The bodies were already burned to ashes and tonight we would bury the ashes in the backyard of Fang Club. Except the wolfs ashes. Those were long gone, a vampire flushed them down the toilet. Suddenly the door opened and he came out. The hallway was fairly small and since he didn't notice me, getting out of the bathroom he bumped into me and made my back go against the wall.

"Oh sorry" he said.

He had pale skin, short black hair and green eyes. I've never seen such a shade of green before. I stared at them until he said:

"Um, I'm Aaron"

That made me snap back into reality.

"Aria, I'm the leader of this place" I said and shook his hand.
