Part 3 - feelings

SCORPIUS'S POV:

I looked at Lily as she walked out of ROR and I ran after her.

"Hey can we talk after dinner I want to get to know you better" I said. Not looking at her "Oh, uh, sure why not" Lily said just as we parted to our tables.

I sat down but I couldn't eat I was so nervous. "Hey what is it mate?" Elliot asked me. "Well me and Lily are going to ROR after dinner. To get to know each other better" I said blushing furiously.

"WHAT?!" Elliot screamed attracting attention from the whole hall. "You said it was okay" I said plainly.

I was correct I remember him telling me that he hoped that me and her would get together. "Yeah you're right I just didn't expect. You to do anything" Elliot said plainly.

I was shocked he didn't think I'd do anything about my love for Lily. Especially after getting Elliot's blessing for it. There was no way I was going to let James have her.

After I finished eating I went to ROR and waited for Lily. Suddenly the door opened and Lily came into the room. "Hey" she said, I just smiled at her "hey" I said back to her.

We talked for hours about anything and everything. We liked a lot of the same food and a. Lot of the same things. Like we both loved quidditch.

LILY'S POV:

"It's really late we should get going" I said. I hated that we had to leave for bed. I wished we could just sleep here. But we couldn't we had to go to our own dorms.

"Yeah you're right, come on I'll walk you to the Gryffindor one" Scorpius said. I smiled faintly at him and just nodded.

"Thank you for walking me over here" I said before turning to. The portrait "quidditch" I said quietly enough that. Scorpius didn't hear me the portrait flung open and I went in.

Before closing it I looked back to Scorpius "good night" I said smiling. "Good Night" he said back and I closed the portrait and went to bed.

SCORPIUS'S POV:

Nobody had ever said 'good night' to me except for my dad's. I was blushing furiously when I came into the Slytherin common room.

"Why are you blushing like that" I heard Elliot's voice say from a arm chair. "It was amazing Elliot, we talked about so much. And we both chear for the same quidditch team I can't believe it" I said.

I was smiling like a dumb ass I knew it hadn't been a date just two friends talking. That's all it was, I decided I'd write her a letter. I had to tell her how I actually felt.

When I got up to my dorm I sat down at my desk, took out a pice of. Parchment and a quill, and started writing.

Dear
Lily

I love you. I know this is hard to take in I'm so sorry but. I'm too much of a coward to say this to you in person.

I always think of you before going to sleep and when I wake up. I can't get you out of my head, I don't know why. It's just the way it is.

I put the letter into a envelope and got ready for bed, I was going to send the letter tomorrow.

I woke up at 6 o'clock and got ready for the day. I went straight to the owlry to send the letter. I found my owl and gave her the letter.

"Give this to Lily" I said to him and he flew away. Then I hurried into the Great Hall for breakfast.

Soon after I arrived at the Great Hall we heard hundreds and hundreds of owls. They were all soring over looking for the mails owners. I saw my owl land by Lily and she looked at me.

LILY'S POV:

A owl landed in front of me waiting for me to take the letter it held in its beak. "That's Scorpius's owl" James said and. I looked back at him a little smile tugged on my face and. I looked at the letter it had my name on it and then it. Said 'open in private' "Excuses me I have to use the. Bathroom" I said standing up and walking out.

When I got out to the black lake and I sat down by my tree I opened the letter. I read it over and over at least 20 times I was so shocked that he wrote this.

I ran into the Great Hall and to the Slitherin table. "We need to talk" I said. Sternly "ohh okay" Scorpius just said.

When we got out of the Great hall and out of the castle I pushed the letter to him. "Is this some kind of sick joke?" I almost screamed.

I was so afraid that it was that my voice was probably a bit cold. "What no no it isn't" he said shocked and a bit upset. "I swear it isn't" he added.

I hugged him tightly and he just stood there for a second really tense. Soon I could feel him melting into my hug and hug me back even tighter.

When I pulled away he was shocked and I could see it on his face. "I love you too" I said my voice just over a wisper.
