Rosé's POV

The next day came by fast, too fast

I found out that Jonah lived across from me so we decided to walk to school today

"How did you sleep?" He asked
"Good, you?"

"I only slept for 3 hours" he chuckled
"Why?"

"I was writing a song," he tells me
"Ooh, can I hear it when it's done?"

He chuckles

"We'll see"

The walk to school was okay until we bumped into some girl

"Watch it!" She says as she turns

"Oh, look who it is Jonah Marais and... New girl?" She said looking over at me

"I'm Rosé"

"That's so unique, anyway, I'm Tate, nice to meet you," she says smiling

"Get lost, Tate" Jonah mumbles and grabs my arm, pulling me away from her

"What are you doing?" I said
"She's Dangerous, you can't trust her"

I looked back at her and sighed

"She looks like a nice person" I mumble

"That's what I thought too when I first met her," he said looking down

"You guys... Dated?" I asked

"Yup, she took control over me, she abused me, she used me, she did everything to me," He said looking at me

I slow down until I completely stopped

Flashback

He smacked me over and over again until I could barely see

The other girl stood behind him, watching in horror

"Next time, you'll be dead!" He screamed and left with the random girl

End of flashback

"ROSÉ!" jonah shouted
I flinched and gasped

"Are you okay? You literally zoned out"

"Yeah, I'm fine" I mumble and kept walking

Jonah pulled me back and gave me a serious look

"You can't just stop out of nowhere and zone out, what happened, what did you think of?" He asked

"Nothing"

"Rosé, I know you had a flashback, it used to happen to me all the time, tell me what's wrong" He mumbles

"We're gonna be late to school," I say and continue walking

Lunch came by fast and I, again, went to sit in the little garden

I was gonna listen to music but then that Zach kid came into the room as well

"Hey, Rosa right?" He asked
"It's Rosé," I tell him

"Cool, cool"
He sat next to me and smiled

"Well, you already know me, I'm Zach Herron and I just wanted to let you know how beautiful you are," He said happily

"Um, are you okay, do you have a fever?" I asked touching his forehead

"What, no, I'm fine," he said confused

"Rosé, come on," Jonah said walking into the room

"What, where?" I asked looking up at him

"Let's skip, and why are you with Zach?" He asked

"He just came in here" I shrugged

Zach's smile dropped and he turned to face Jonah

"Well, I'll be going now Zach, Nice talking to you though, and, thanks but no thanks, I'm actually not," I say and leave with Jonah

"What do you mean by 'Im actually not'?" He asked

"He called me beautiful," I tell him
"You are," He said

"Your crazy" I laugh
"Your blind"

I glare at him and giggle afterward

"Where are we going?" I asked
"My calm spot" he responded

I nodded and we kept walking
