"lemme guess. everyone else was sleeping so you decided to call me?" kenya scoffs. "actually, alvaro told me you were sick so i called to check on you, bitch."
he nearly blushed at her response, screaming on the inside, but instead decided to ruin the moment and say, "so you do care about me."
"no, but i'm not tryna see you die either." she smirks at his beanie. "i fucking hate your haircut, by the way."
"give me two weeks! jesus," he pushes the beanie down further, which makes her laugh. "you really gon let my comment get to you like that?"
"uh, why not? would you lie to me?" he coughs really heavily and her eyes widen. "i would not, now go to sleep."
"why?"
"you coughing up a storm in this bitch, now shush." she sets her phone down and ties up her hair. "what are you doing, shorty?"
"telling you a bedtime story, shrimpy. shut the fuck up." he smiles extremely wide as she starts telling her story. "once upon a time, there was a princess called matilda..."
"real classy, ken." she kisses her teeth and continues to tell her story, smiling when mattia eventually takes his glasses off and falls asleep on the call, leading to her falling asleep too.
