This is the day. The one that is supposed to change my life or crash my dreams forever. I woke up, went to the bathroom and looked in the mirror.

    - "Calm down Agata. It's just one acceptance letter from collage. You did got few of them already and it's not that big of a deal..." I tried to convince myself hoping that it will work and I will relax a little bit.

BUT WHO AM I KIDDING?! This was THE letter from UCLA, the only college I wanted to go soooo badly. I knew it would be a huge change, since I live in Poland, but I didn't care. I was happy to leave my life behind, because it was mostly miserable. You see, last few years were never ending struggle with depression, panic attacks & nervous breakdowns and that's all because people around me were continuously hurting me. After years of bad decisions, worse boyfriends and ever more terrible memories I decided to change my life and study abroad. So this was my chance to start a new live. New chapter.

I showered, brushed my teeth, then I walk out of the bathroom and got change in some clothes. I always tried to look awesome and usually I did pretty well, since I knew what to show and what to hide. I blow dried my long, brown hair and then I put make up on. You see, I always was considered as pretty girl and I felt good about myself, so I wasn't the type to put too much make up on for the school, but I liked to make my green eyes stand out. Satisfied with my look, I went to the kitchen to grab something to eat. I wasn't really hungry, because of the nerves, but I knew I had to eat anything. In the middle of pouring milk into the bowl full of cereal, my mom walked to the kitchen with mail. My heart start beating so fast, that I wasn't sure if I won't have a stroke.

  - "Is that the mail?" - I asked my mom.

  - "Yeah. Why? You waiting for something?"

  - "Mom! It's THE MAIL. Today is supposed to be the delivery day for my UCLA letter!" - I started freaking out.

  - "Oh, now I understand. But I still don't like the idea of you leaving for LA. Can't you find something a little bit closer? Like maybe at THE SAME continent?" - She said, putting the letters on the table.

  - "MOOOM, we talked about it like 10000 times. I want UCLA. It's everything I always dreamed of and I want my dreams to come true. Plus I kinda need to change environment since we both know that I wasn't the happiest one here..."

  - "Yeah, I know... I just... I'll just miss you sooo bad! Dad too..."

  - "I know mama, but It's time to grow up for me and for you to let go." - I said starting to feel really sad.

  - "When did you start to be such wise girl, smart pants, huh?" - My mom asked shedding a tear.

  - "The day I was born, mom" - I said grabbing the mail. My mom rolled her eyes and started laughing.

  - "I found it!" I said after sorting the mail and finding big envelope with UCLA sign.

  - "Well... Let's see what you got there!" Said my dad walking to the kitchen. I looked at my parents nervous and opened the envelope. I couldn't believe what I saw.

  - "Oh my God..."
