(Bnha) todoroki x reader: confession

You sat amongst your friends, laughing and spitting insults as you focused on Mario kart displayed in front of you. Tonight was Friday night at the U.A dorms, which was mostly known as Game-night. Everyone in the room consisted of, The Baku-squad and the Deku- gang. You found yourself casually switching between the two during school hours, but once you got to the dorms it seems like everyone was fighting over who got to hang out with you next. It was hard to choose most of the time,
Both groups had so much to offer. You loved hanging out with Bakugo and his friends  because of their chaotic energy and quick one liners. And you hung out with Midoriya's friends for their kind words and memorable moments.

Anyways, tonight you wanted to give everyone a bit of a surprise by deciding to be by yourself.

"Awe what?! Join us, we've got pikachu!" Mina whined while keeping ahold of your hand. You laughed at her little joke about Denki before prying her off of you.

"Yeah cmon y/n why don't you come with us? Deku is really bad at Mario kart, we need your badass drifting skills!" Uraraka chimed causing midoriya to blush and cover his face in turn. Of course you knew you were good at Mario kart but you could tell she was sugar coating it.

"Listen listen, I'd love to be on everyone's side, but tonight marks the night of a fresh beginning for y/n! The Mario kart master!" People either laughed or made comments about your declaration. You found yourself laughing with them as well, that was until you turned around and came face to face with one of U.A's most beautiful boys.

"Oh, is that so? Then I'd like to be apart of it." Shoto was looking down at you, his stoic face remained the same but his tone held much more emotion. All you could do was sit there and smile back at him like an idiot. Any sense you had went out the window as you stared into his eyes and began to fantasize about what a great team the two of you would be...However you quickly regained your composure and crossed your arms.

"I don't know Shoto Todoroki, you don't seem like you can handle somebody like me. Especially not during an intense gaming session like this?" The room grew quiet as the two of you stared at each other.

"If it really means that much to you then I'd be honored to be on your side." He then bowed which caused everyone to laugh. You gave his shoulder a pat and rolled your eyes.

"Okay okay. As long as you don't fuck up we can be a team." He shot up and looked at you again, eyes bright and excited. Now that it was time to race, you took a seat on the carpeted floor before patting a spot next to you,which was immediately filled by todoroki. You then handed him a wii remote before grabbing yours and choosing the race track. This was going to be fun.

-10 minutes later-

The screen in front of you exploded in confetti and bright yellow letters that read WINNER!
You leapt out of your spot on the floor and begin to twerk your ass in victory.

"That's right bitches!" As you continued to dance ochaco and kirshima cheered you on. Todoroki however, was blushing and looking away with a small smile. You laughed it off and tossed your remote to him, which he barely caught.

"Couldn't have done it without you, since we won I declare we treat ourselves to whatever junk food we can find in the fridge!" Before he could answer you were already in the kitchen opening the fridge and pulling out all kinds of foods.

"Hey todoroki! You and y/n have some chemistry don't you think?" Ochaco nudged todoroki whilst midoriya gave a thumbs ups. Even iida was interested as he moved off of his spot on the couch to sit down next to todoroki.

" Todoroki, y/n is quite popular among our classmates. You might want to take a chance now before someone else does!" Iida whispered whilst giving his signature hand chopping motion. The three friends were now staring at him expectantly before he gave a weak smile and shrugged

"I don't think she feels the same about me. She's so outgoing and kind, I'd just hold her back. And yeah we have chemistry but maybe it's just because she's a really friendly person."

"Shut up ya damn half and half. Round face, deku , and speedy are trying to say you should ask her out or something, even I can see that." Bakugos sudden outburst caused the group to look his way, mainly ochaco, midoriya, and iida because of the names he had called them.

"Thanks for the advice bakugo, very helpful." Todoroki shot back with an eye roll
which made bakugo stand up and march his way towards him.

"You got soemthing to say?!" He grabbed todoroki by his shirt and growled at him.
Just before anything else could happen, you poked your head out of the kitchen walkway and motioned towards todoroki.

"Hey! Get your ass in here and help me eat snacks! Oh and bakugo, stop being a bitch."

"Oh shut up shitty girl!" He yelled back, making todoroki chuckle at the exchange. He lifted himself up and walked past bakugo to meet you in the kitchen as ordered.

"Here," you stood on your toes to meet him before lifting a chocolate covered strawberry to his lips. His warm breath fanning over your fingers made you bite your lip. He hesitated before opening his mouth and taking a bite. Some of the chocolate crumbled and remained on the corner of his lips making you laugh a bit. You took the rest of the strawberry and popped it in your mouth. Once he finished chewing he averted his eyes and cleared his throat.

"Uh, thank you."

"Hm?" You paused before clapping your hands together and pointing at him.

"Oh yeah, no prob, bakugo looked about ready to kill you so I had to get you outta there." You playfully rolled your eyes and grabbed another strawberry, taking a chunk out of it.

"I meant thanks for the strawberry but thanks for that too. Can I have another?" Hearing his smooth voice made you feel hotter than the sun, so you gave a short nod and grabbed another one. Once again, you lifted it to his lips and watched as his tongue licked at the chocolate before he took a bite.

"Fuck." You whispered low enough that he couldn't hear you. You turned around and looked in the fridge again, not even really looking for something but more so to cool yourself down. Whilst you did this todoroki clenched his fist and gently knocked on the counter beside him. It was now or never.

"...I like strawberries. They're good." He blurted our, causing you to turn around and laugh.

"Uh Yeah me too, especially like this, want another?" You held out the last strawberry to him which he held his hand up at.

"I- no, I meant, I like you. Like, a lot." Suddenly there was a lump caught in your throat. Your carefully placed ghe strawberry on the couch tee and blinked a few times. Did he really just say that? You didn't know what to say, so you didn't say anything. You stepped forward, and stood in your goes once more. His stoic face was softened and slightly red as you placed your hand on around his neck. You leaned forward and kissed his cheek before slowly pulling back and looking down at his lips, asking for permission but being to afraid to speak.

"Yes." His breathless answer was all you needed before you placed your lips on his and kissed him with the passion of 100 love songs. His hands rested on your hips as he leaned into your touch. The two of you molding together, soft breathing and the sound of yours lips smacking against each other.

"Woo! Get some todoroki!" Denki cheered as everyone else peeked through the kitchen walkway and watched you too with smug smiles. You flipped them off before deepening by filtering your head and tangling your fingers in his hair. Todoroki didn't seem to mind as he only smiled against your lips and held you close to him.
