Chapter 32

Adora's P.O.V.

' I struggled to break free from the chains that bound me. Catra's hand was placed on the handle ready to turn it on. I couldn't let her. I wouldn't let her. Not this time, I thought as I stopped struggling and concentrated on my breathing. I blocked out the shouts and yells. All I could hear was peace and calmness. I felt pleasant.

"Adora."

That voice. I knew it. It was calming and warm to hear. I continued to concentrate on my breathing. ANd then I heard that voice again.

"Adora."

It felt familiar to hear that voice after so long. I wanted to go towards it and embrace it, to never let it go.

"Adora, it's time."

At that last sentence, I opened my eyes and pulled with all my strength, breaking free of the bonds that held me. I stood up and glared at Catra.

"I won't let you hurt anyone else, Catra." I replied as I pounced on her.'

-----------Jump to different P.O.V. ------------

Keith's P.O.V.

' I stood next to Shiro and Lance, waiting for the right time to strike. Hunk informed us that for our plan to work we need to be free of the guards and the bonds that held us. Hunk was about to say something when everyone got quiet and still.

"I won't let you hurt anyone else, Catra." Adora replied, before she pounced on top of her. That was our cue.

"Now!" Shiro shouted. Everyone began to break free of their bonds and tackle the guards to the ground. Shay and the girls made it out without a scratch. Pidge's dad and Sophia joined Shay and them soon after.

Lance and I stood back to back, defeating any guard that stood in our way. We were a great team. Well, when we didn't fight with each other most of the time.

"Hey, I know this something out of the blue to say but..." Lance stated, but was interrupted when a guard came running to them while yelling.

"Yeah?" I asked, confusedly, blocking another guard's attack.

"When you confessed to me, I felt happy. But, I also felt scared that I would not be faithful to Allura." Lance replied, dodging an attack.

"Okay?" I responded, questionly. A guard came running and was knocked out when I elbowed him.

"I...I don't know what to do." Lance said hesitantly.

"Lance, you aren't going to betray Allura by having feelings for someone else. Allura would want you to be happy and at peace with yourself." I said, holding his hand. "And so would I." I gave it a kiss. "I love you, Lance and that's never going to change."

Lance looked at me with shock and surprise and then washed it away with tears of joy.

"I love you to Keith." He replied, hugging me. We stood in the middle of a battle embracing each other, which then turned into an everlasting kiss.

"Hey if you guys are done, we should get to safety." Pidge replied, using pepper spray on the guard.

"Right." I responded, already breaking the kiss. I held Lance's hand and darted towards where everyone else was, except the guards of course.

"Now you two love birds can continue your smooching." Pidge says walking by us.

"Really Pidge?" I replied back.

"Come on Pidge." Lance replied at the same time.

"Everyone here?" Shiro asks, walking around looking at everyone. They all nod their heads in  union.

"Wait, where's Adora?" Glimmer asked, worriedly.'

Adora's P.O.V.
' "Get off me." Catra manage to say as she pushed me off her. We both stood up in a battle stance, ready for each other's attack.

I searched the area for my sword and and gave a smirk when I found it. Catra yelled in irritation and lunged at me. Once she was a foot away from me, I slid under her and twisted my legs so that she fell. And she did, which wouldn't be a surprise.

I grabbed my sword and held it high in the air and shouted, "For the honor of Grayskull!" And a bright light transformed me into She-ra. Now I was ready.

"You'll regret that." Catra snarled at me.

"I don't know?" I said sarcastically.

Catra lunged at me with her claws out. We fought till we couldn't fight no more. We were exhausted and ready to collapse on the floor just by moving a finger.

Catra was supported by the handle and noticed that when she caught her breath. I watched her closely to see what she would do and to my knowledge of her, she began to grip the handle and turned it on.

Everything went into slow motion then. All I remember was throwing my sword at her and Catra releasing her grip and falling on the floor. Then everything went white.

It took me a moment to collect myself from what just happened.

"Adora!" Glimmer and Bow both say in union as they rush over towards me. I looked around and notice that everything was covered in dust and dirt. All I could hear were bells when I saw Glimmer and Bow.

"Guys?" I asked confusingly. They helped me up by grabbing my arms and placing them over their shoulders.

"We got you, Adora." Bow replies. The bells start to slowly go away. I look around for something. Something that I know was important to me. And then it hits me.

"My sword." I blurted out. Glimmer comes running towards us with something in her arms.

"Got it right here." She said joyfully, holding my sword in her arms. I smiled at her.

"Thanks." I spoke before everything went black.'

Hey guys, here's the new chapter. Something crazy just happened today and I don't know how to explain it. Anyway, the next chapter will be the last chapter before this fanfic is finally over. Okay bye.
