Inconceivable Explorations

Despair

The screen clicks on and Despair is pictured, before the video starts.

"So this is it, huh? We figure it out and we get out of this damn place." Bakugo's voice floats as the camera pans around the room. It's a courtroom; there are five students. There are twenty stands and fifteen have pictures crossed out in pink on them.

"Puhuhu, of course! It'll go like this: you have to figure out who murdered Kirishima Eijirou! Do it, and you'll live! Get it wrong, and all but the blackened will die!" A black and white bear sits at the big throne like seat. Izuku gulps.

"WAHHHHH!!! I DON'T WANNA DIEEE!!!" Mineta cries. Bakugo's jaw tightens. It becomes clear that he's upset- his eyes have this tired look.

"Kirishima's dead? What the hell?" The students cry out,

"What kind of universe is this?"

"I guess we will start with when it happened and establish our alibis." Midoriya says nervously, "The report says he died at around 7:00PM. I think most of us were in the lounge."

Who was in the lounge again? Midoriya asks himself, ah, right. Me, Mineta, and Tokoyami were all in the lounge. Iida went to the showers because he had been in the gym. I'm not sure about Bakugo though.

"Kirishima was still in the gym when I left, so I think it's safe to say that that is where he was killed." Iida says, chopping.

"I agree with that." Midoriya jumps in, " that is also where we found him, if I'm correct."

"Bakugo must have done it! He's unaccounted for!" Mineta cries.

"Bakugo wouldn't have done that-" Midoriya starts muttering again. Uraraka puts a hand on his shoulder and tells him to calm down. He goes bright red but stops.

"I didn't do it you dumb——! I was in the kitchen cooking for you useless losers that can't even feed themselves!" Bakugo yells. Midoriya covers his mouth. Who did it? Who killed Kirishima? To figure it out I should... focus on the murder weapon.

"We should focus on the murder weapon now." Midoriya speaks up.

"I agree with that! We might be able to determine where the weapon come from and who had access to it!" Iida agrees.

"When I was looking over the body, I found that the wound was from a knife," Tokoyami begins, "It was a standard knife. One that could be found in the tool kits we were given, or in the kitchen."

"Wait, is it actually gonna end up being Bakugo?" Hagakure asks. Uraraka scoffs,

"Of course it is. He's the only person there that has the drive to actually kill someone." Midoriya lets out a loud cough and Todoroki claps his back for him. Iida pointedly looks away from Uraraka.

"I don't think Bakugo did it. He's too close to Kirishima and thinks of him as his equal. I don't think that he killed Kirishima." Midoriya counters when he was done his coughing fit.

"Than the only person that could have done it is Bakugo!" Mineta cries.

"Bakugo was in a position to kill him, and he did have access to a weapon." Tokoyami joins in. Midoriya frowns, I'm missing something here. He seems hesitant.

"What did we have for dinner that night?" Midoriya asks.

"Why is he asking about dinner? That's kind of odd." Ashido asks.

"They mentioned that Bakugo had been cooking dinner for them that night. Maybe it has something to do with that."

"If I recall correctly, we had Katsudon for dinner." Iida days, arms chopping furiously.
