BEFORE y'all get mad just remember that
y'all voted to allow the random singing. y'all

BUT i wanna explain the chapter! i'm forcing
development on y'all, but not every scene feels
like it belongs, you know? if you recall,
homecoming is coming up and it's causing a
little stress with who's taking who, but i
haven't included some stuff and that's on me
for thinking it wasn't important and then needing
to have done it now, so i figured i needed to at
LEAST do this before the homecoming chapter.

AND the upperclassmen aren't peer pressuring
mars. it's more like 'stand up for yourself, go
for what you want, we think you're a star' type
thing, i just thought this song would fit.

so essentially: some friendships have been
developing in the background. maybe i'll do
a "blooper reel." ( a chapter full of scenes i
deleted. ) one per act?

i just wanted a little drama cause i was bored,
and homecoming is going to be about women
empowerment, but i couldn't write the end of a
fight without the fight. 🥴 Mars is not a bad
person and I'm not writing her to be one, just
wanted to be clear! some of y'all just made it

Vanessa shook her head as she watched the group. "You're not even doing it right!"

Mars paused where she stood, raising her brows. "We don't have initiative? Seniors are literally doing nothing but making us work."

Vanessa rolled her eyes, holding up a hand. "Are we gonna have a problem? You got a bone to pick? You've come so far, why how are you pulling on my dick?", she narrowed her eyes, referring to the progress Mars had made as a dancer. "I'd normally slap your face off, and everyone here could watch", the dark haired girl gestured to the other students around them. "But I'm feeling nice, here's some advice. Listen up, bey-otch", the girl continued, getting in the smaller girl's face.
