Yashiro's POV
After school, I said goodbye to Aoi-Chan and headed for the library to return a book I borrowed in the week I was sent home. Its intriguing protagonists always managed to beat their opponents with their skills and brains.

I smiled until I saw Minako-Senpai ahead of me, down the empty hallway. I wondered what his words meant. Then, I heard a bow string at turned my head in the direction of the sound. A dark hooded figure had an arrow notched in the direction of Minako. The arrowhead was glowing with some dark energy. I called out to him in desperation,

"Minako-Senpai watch out!" He turned around to look at my terrified face. The arrow was shot and whizzed towards Senpai with incredible speed. He took off his glasses and shoved it in his pocket. He held out a hand and said,
"Shoheki: Number 1!" A sphere surrounded him which was struck by the arrow but didn't break. The figure shot 3 more arrows, cracking the barrier.

The figure looked appalled and I was just as confused as he was.
What was that? I thought. Minako slowly walked towards the dark figure, blocking each arrow with his barrier. The barrier shattered when he was a couple of metres from the figure.

When he reached the figure, one of the hands grabbed him and the other slammed his head. The figure crumpled and flickered.
"Shoheki: Number 7!" Minako called out. A box, twice as large as I was, sealed the hooded figure, before becoming smaller and smaller. Crushing the person into a small cube, the size of a table. The contents filled with light before disappearing altogether.
Was this the work of one of the Apparitions? What did Aoi-chan call him? I thought. The Unlucky Archer! He must have followed Minako-Senpai in here.

Then, he turned to me.
"What are you doing here?" He asked, walking towards me.
"I was, um r-returning a b-book from the library. Then, I saw that Apparition and I felt the need to warn you." I stammered. He nodded, looking satisfied with the answer. He walked back towards the library. He gestured for me to follow me.

He opened the library doors and looked around. I walked him and returned the book to the librarian. He continued until he found a book. It was hidden behind another book. It was one of the books that Tsuchigomori-Sensei usually kept. It was blood red, the symbol of a forbidden book.

He then took it and he slipped it into his bag. After returning my book, Minako-Senpai gestured for me to sit down with him.
"Sit down, we need to have a talk." He said, making himself comfortable. I sat on the other side and waited patiently for an answer.
"Where do I begin? Well, I guess when I first came here then but before I do that...." He flicked his hand  the air around us shimmered.

"No one can hear us now. Now let's begin." He started. I nodded and listened to his story.
"It all started when I first awoke in the garden bed of the school at about sunset. I realised I was human and was quite appalled by this. You see, I was an Apparition, asleep in the place of the school but I did not realise I was placed into a human body. After sneaking out and finding a place to sleep, I came back to this school. With a little bit of my Apparition skill, I managed to fool the teachers into thinking that I had transfered over to the school with consent from my parents. They were successfully tricked and here I am." He said.

"Of course, I had to supress my ability from people like Minamato-san who would have sensed me instantly." He said. I opened my mouth to say something but he got to me first.
"Ahh you're probably going to say what my ability is, am I right? Well, I call it, Shoheki (Barrier). There are various types of defences my Shoheki can produce. However, I won't go into detail with this." He explained

"What kind of Apparation are you that makes you so powerful? Are you a School Wonder?" I asked.
"That is an excellent question, Yashiro but," He said as he was standing up, closing his eyes as he yawned "that is one which I will not answer. At least, not today. Understand?" One of his eyes opened and the brown pupil became a dark purple-black glow.

"Y-yes sir." I stuttered. His menacing aura was overwhelming. I wanted to throw up with nervousness. This was a being who could kill me without even trying. Minako-Senpai laughed.
"Hahahaha. Don't worry. I am a nice guy, remember? I won't do anything to you. After all... Number 7 won't take it too kindly." He waved his hand and the air sparkled again before fizzing out.

"Come on, you had better go before your parents get worried. This is between the two of us." He said. I left the school with even more questions about Ikare Minako.

This was a little difficult to write. It took me a bit of planning to arrange all of this. I NEVER plan. Welp, I hope you enjoyed this chapter as well. This is Agent_I signing out.
