"Just ignore it."
I whispered, running my fingers through his hair and bringing him closer to me.
"Nora, wait-" He began, getting off the mattress and pacing toward the door. Shadows danced across the dusted wooden floor as he stopped in front of the green light, hesitant to open the door.
"Harry, don't." I told him, bringing the blanket up to my chest as I sat up, watching fearfully, but as quickly as it had appeared, it vanished, and all I could see was Harry's naked form in the moonlight.
He opened the door, and we saw nothing.
Shutting it behind him, he shook his head, running a hand down his face.
"We should go."
He said, and I shook my head, letting the blanket fall.
"It's gone now. Come on, we were just getting started."
Harry's face flushed red, and he paused, but instincts quickly overpowered his fear and he fell onto the mattress once again.
Our lips locked, tongues battling for dominance. His hands were desperate, roaming over my body and leaving icy trails behind as the night grew colder and colder.
"I'm ready...I'm ready Harry." I gasped as he seated himself between my thighs, and as he leaned forward, I lifted my face to meet his.
Suddenly, there was a loud crash, and glass splintered onto the floor, scattering toward us as Harry leaned over me, protecting me from the shards.
He arrived, in comparison, very quietly.
His large, muscular frame barely brushed the windowsill as he floated inside. As his feet hit the floor, there was a rush of air outward in a circle, and Harry and I both caught the faint scent of swampland.
He was beautiful.
"Is that God?"
I murmured into Harry's ear.
"Worry not. It is I, Shrek." Came the voice of the being in front of us. We waited, eyes wide and basking in his glow as he approached, looking disappointed.
"There is no sex before marriage."
We shuddered, the raw power being emitted from him terrifying yet awe inspiring. I opened my mouth, but he lifted a green hand, closing his eyes and turning away.
Harry looked back at me, and I nodded.
"Goodbye, my lover."
He tipped his head to me.
"Goodbye, my friend."
I smiled, we were so quirky.
Harry stood up, and Shrek gave him some pants to cover his shame.
"Come, my child." He said, and with that, I turned my head, not dating to watch their heavenly ascent as Harry was taken into Shrek's arms and flown upwards.
Only when the green light disappeared did I go to the window, staring out into the trees.
Faintly I saw two figures in the shadows, and they nodded to me.
"I know. Goodbye, and thank you Justin...Taylor..."
Their purpose served, they lifted their hands in farewell, fading once more into the forest.
And all was quiet.
