The True Love Exam/ Kingdom Hearts-Riku X Reader

Okay so, this chapter was actually suggested by @Polli2123 so enjoy.

The past few years have been a mess.

We have been traveling through different worlds, getting separated, searching for each other and trying to defeat one man in different forms and ages!

'Yeah, not weird at all.'

And when we finally think everything is over, Karma slaps us hard in the face!

"Did you really have to find that bottle Kairi?" I complain for the millionth time today.

I was sitting on the ground, leaning my back on the paopu tree. Above me, Sora and Kairi sit, totally ignoring me, and on my right stands Riku.

'And before I continue, please every single girl that likes him, no matter in which world they belong in, back. Off!

He is mine okay? And you have no right to talk to him, look at him, smile at him or even think about him!'

"Get up (Y/n)!" Sora says and runs to the gummi ship.

I sigh and slowly get up. I try to walk to Donald and Goofy but a hand holds me back. I turn around to see Riku.

He was serious but that didn't stop me from smiling to him.

"I want a favor and don't question it. Close your eyes and open your mouth" I look suspiciously at him but his serious look makes me agree.

Once I do as I was asked I feel something soft and with a sweet smell in my mouth.

I bite on it and open my eyes. I was surprised to see him eating a piece of an already bitten paopu fruit.

He was smiling at me. I swallow the bite and smirk.

"I thought you didn't believe at these childish stories," I tell him with a serious tone but my big smile gave me away.

He comes closer and hugs me tightly. I rest my hands on his chest as I look up at his eyes.

"I don't, but I don't want to risk losing you." His serious face returns but it is softer.

I try to push him away but he is too strong for me.

"And who exactly told you that I want to be stuck with you until time ends?" I joke and I can see his eyes getting sparks.

"Too late for that, don't you think?" He kisses the top of my head and I giggle.

"Oi, lovebirds! We have to go, hurry up!" We turn around to see Sora waving at us.

I get out of his hug and hold his hand in mine, then run to the gummi ship.

Once there, Master Yen Sid explains what it is all about and we all agree to take the Mark of Mastery exam.

Right after we are sent to a battle against the giant Ursula, Riku grabs my hand pulling me behind him.

"You need to be close to me all the time! I won't bare to lose you again." He screams in order for me to hear him.

"Don't worry, we will always find each other!" I kiss his cheek and run to where Sora was fighting.

After we defeat her, we get separated in different chronically periods in the same sleeping worlds but we never were able to meet each other.

Only once did I see Riku but as I went to hug him, I pass through him.

'He is totally going to kill me for not listening to him and staying with him.' I think to myself and sigh.

Eventually, we all appear in the world that never was. Or something that seems like that.

I run behind Riku and hit the heartless that was about to attack him.

"I told you we would find each other," I tell him with a big smile once he turns around and sees me.

He hugs me and buries his head on my shoulder and my hair, smelling them. His arms wrap tighter around me as I would just fade away.

He explains to me what has happened and we try to save Sora.

We do not succeed so we decide to return. After returning to the towel and successfully regaining Sora's body, Riku jumps in the realm of darkness, or even deeper, to save him.

After a long time of worrying and ready to kill someone, they return.

Everyone jumps on Sora except for me and Mickey.

I hug him as tightly as he did before.

"Don't you dare to do that again!" I tell him after breaking the hug and he chuckles.

I get up and extend a hand. He gladly grabs it and I help him get up too.

"But seriously though, if you haven't passed the test, no one has."

I hold his hand in mine as Master Yen Sid speaks up.

Riku passed and so did I! But poor Sora has to take it away for being an idiot.

Riku starts teasing him and so the day ended.

Not our adventures though!

"You wanted to see us, Master?" Riku, who was sitting right next to me asks.

The Master only nods. He explains the whole story and how we have to save Aqua.

I nod and try to move but Riku's voice stops me.

"With all due respect sir, but I would prefer it if (Y/n) didn't come along on this mission." His face did not show any emotion.

The Master only nodded in response. Then he leaves us to talk with the three good fairies.

"What? Are you out of your mind?! I am not letting you go all alone!" I tell him holding him back before he walks through a portal.

He turns around and cups my cheek.

"Don't worry, I won't be alone. I will have Mickey." He turns around to look at his friend and smile.

I hold his hand closer to my cheek afraid of losing his touch.

"And we are connected forever so stop worrying." He kisses my lips one last time before walking to the portal.

He turns around and smiles at me.

"I will return to you. I always will!"
