As soon as he opened the front door to his family home in Doncaster his sisters came running screaming.
"Harry Styles! You know Harry Styles!"

He exchanged a tired, sad look with the oldest of them, Lottie, and she got the message.
"Come on Phoebe and Daisy, Louis's tired. Let him relax for a while."

"But Lots! Harry Styles!" Daisy protested.

"I met him briefly on my road trip. Nice guy. Nothing more to tell." Louis said dismissively.

"That's so cool. You met Harry Styles! Oh my God!" Phoebe screeched.

"Yep. It's lovely to see you all. I've missed you but I'm gonna go and rest for a while now. We'll talk more later." Louis said and gave them a little smile.

He just wanted to be alone for the moment so he could cry. He dragged his suitcase upstairs and closed the door to his room. He dropped down on the bed and the tears started to flood.

Five minutes later there was a knock on the door and Lottie peeked her head inside. She took one look at her older brother and stepped inside his bedroom.
"Okay, tell me what happened."

So Louis did. He told her everything about his time with Harry and how they had fallen in love just for Harry to break everything in the end.

Lottie listened and comforted him.
"Well, Harry Styles is an idiot. You deserve so much better Lou. Someone who wants to be with you without being ashamed. Fuck him!"

That made Louis chuckle.
"You're absolutely right Lottie! Fuck him!"

He felt slightly better now when he finally had told someone about his troubled heart.

Three days passed and Louis was back to his old routines, helping his stepdad with the kids. He was miserable and cried himself to sleep every night but he at least managed to keep up his appearance during the days.

He was making dinner. Dan (his stepdad) was working late so he was in charge. There was a knock on the door and he shouted for his sisters to open it. He could hear a commotion from the hallway. His sisters sounded angry. He turned off the stove and headed to the hallway to see what the fuzz was about. He stopped in his track when he saw who was at the door and now he heard what his sisters were saying.

"You broke my brother!" Daisy just shouted accusingly.

Oh boy. He hadn't been able to hide his despair from his sisters.
"Okay, girls, Please go to the living room." he said firmly, refusing to meet Harry's eyes.

"But he made you sad Lou!" Phoebe protested.

"I'm fine sweetie. Let me talk to Harry alone now. Lottie?" Louis answered with a sigh.

"Fine, come on girls. Let's leave them alone." Lottie agreed but she turned to
Harry before they exit the hallway. "If you hurt him even more than you already have I'll punch you in the nuts. I don't care that you're famous."

"Oh my God Lottie, just go!" Louis grunted.

Harry had stayed quiet the whole time. Louis finally looked at him with furrowed eyebrows.
"Sorry about that, they are a bit overprotective. What the hell are you doing here Harry?"

He took in his features. Harry looked like a mess. His hair was pointing in various directions, he hadn't shaved and it seemed like he hadn't slept in ages. Harry took a step closer and his lower lip started to tremble.
"I'm so, so sorry I hurt you. I handled that so badly."

Louis crossed his arms and stared at him coldly.
"You could have sent a text. What the hell are you doing here?"

Harry's eyes were glistering with tears.
"I messed up. I needed to see you. I should have never let you go in the first place. I'm so sorry!"

"Well, now you have apologized. What do you want from me?" Louis answered as coldly as before.

Harry started to cry.
"I'm begging you for a second chance. I love you, so much. You haven't asked for a life in the spotlight and it's really selfish of me to drag you into that but I need you so much. I don't care who knows, I just want to love you. Please Lou. Give me a second chance."

Louis started to cry as well.
"Why didn't you say that in L.A. instead of that stupid shit you pulled? I left your place thinking you didn't love me back."

"I was scared and shocked and I thought it might be for the best for both of us. I was so wrong Lou. Fuck, I have hardly slept since you left me." Harry answered, looking utterly broken.

Louis just wanted to throw himself in his arms and never let go but he couldn't give in that easily.
"So what changed? I mean, are you actually ready to have an open relationship with me? Telling the world that I'm your boyfriend?"

"Yes. Losing you made me realize I would give up everything to be with you." Harry managed to get out between sobs.

"JUST KISS HIM LOUIS!!!" three voices shouted from the living room.

That made Louis smile and Harry gave him a hopeful smile in return. Louis closed the distance between them and threw himself in Harry's arms. They hugged each other close before they connected their lips and kissed like they never had kissed each other before. When they finally had to come up for air Harry leaned his forehead against Louis's.
"I love you Haz." Louis whispered emotionally.

"I love you too." Harry whispered back.

"Let me introduce you to my family." Louis smiled and took Harry's hand in his, leading him to the living room. They both promised silently to never let go.
