Chapter Six

Neo POV

The last thing I remember was laying on the ground as Mateo throws punches at me left and right. After that I blacked out and couldn't feel anything. I open my eyes just to see Mateo throwing Astrid across the field. I don't know what came over me or what. But before I knew it I was on top of Mateo beating his fucking face in, maybe I was trying to kill him or whatever but I didn't care.

"HOW DARE YOU PUT YOUR FUCKING HANDS ON ASTRID!! YOU PIECE OF SHIT!!" I SAID GROWLING

He threw Astrid the girl he claims is his. I threw him against a tree making him land on two tree branches that stuck through his stomach. Before I could go check on lil mama I passed out again. The last thing I saw was Liz and Josie running toward me and some guy picking up Astrid bridal style. The every thing went black.

*later that day*

"Is he gonna be ok?" I heard a sweet voice ask

"Yea i bleed the venom out and gave him some of my blood, he should wake up soon." Some guy said

"Thank you so much dad!" I realized it was Astrid

DAD! Her dad is here, he must have been the guy I saw pick up Astrid before I passed out.
I groan trying to move my body, but it was so sore.

"I'm gonna call your mother and let her know to come back to the school." Says her dad

"Ok please make sure someone finds him, I don't want him to hurt neo again." Lil mama says with a sadness lacing her voice

I open my eyes, nobody noticing that I was awake. Or that I even sat up in the bed.

"I still need to tell you about his mother." I say with a strained voice

They both turned to me with shocked expressions. I reach for the glass of water taking a long and satisfying gulf.

"What are you talking about kid?" Her dad asks

He does look as scary in person like everyone has said. I look at her and she nods her head.

"I over heard Mateo talking to her mom, she has something called white Oak stakes that she is gonna use to get rid of you and your siblings." I say in one breath

"what's your name kid?" He asked

"Neo.. Neo adams.. Sir" I say a bit nervous

"Well Neo adams, I want to thank you for protecting my little girl, remain doing so or I will rip your throat out with my teeth." He says with a serious tone

"I will sir I care about her with all my heart." I say looking at Astrid trying to read her emotions in her eyes

"Very well, I will go call your mother and I will come back to check up on both of you later." He says before pulling Astrid to the side and whispering something in her ear. He leaves out, list leaving me and Astrid in the room together. Silence filled the room as she looked around trying to avoid eye contact with me.

"Lil mama." She looks me in the eyes and hums

"Come here please." I say in a soft tone

She walks over to the bed climbing into my arms. I rub her back and play with her hair, listening to her breathing.

"Are you feeling better Neo?" She asked with a concerned expression

"I am fine mamas, thanks to your dad." I say with a little chuckle

"So what did your father say to you before he left?" I asked curiously

"He said he liked you and that you were a keeper." She says in a whisper tone

"I can't hear you mamas speak a little louder for me babygirl." I say

"He said he likes you and that your a keeper." She says drawing circles on my chest

"Oh really now." I say chuckling as she blushes

"So if I was to ask you out what would you say?" I ask hoping she will say yes

"I don't know ask me and find out." She says looking me in my eyes

"Astrid Mikaelson will you be my beautiful girlfriend?" I ask hoping to God she says yes

"Ummm......"
