Chapter Part 12

As I was sleeping next to Neo I felt this pain in my body like my bones were breaking. I let out a blood curling scream waking up Neo right beside me.

"Mamas what's wrong?" Neo asked

"She is shifting." Says my dad who busted through the door

He picks me up and takes me into the woods. I see Neo right behind us as I let out another scream. I could feel my bones breaking inside of me. I never knew shifting would hurt this much.

"Honey listen to the sound of my voice,focus on shifting and not the pain, feel your body changing and fur growing on your body. " Says my dad trying to talk me through it

"You got this babygirl. " Neo said

I started to relax, controlling my breathing and focusing on my body shifting into its wolf form. Once I opened my eyes and I looked down I say paws and fur instead of my hands. I had brownish black fur. I look at my dad as to ask if I could go for a run. He nods his hed knowing what I'm asking.

"Run free honey." He says

I turn around and take off into the forest. I never thought running through the woods would feel this amazing. I could feel the wind against my fur, the dirt under my paws as I hit the ground. After a few hours of running I turn around and ran back to where my dad and neo were to see them still there.

"Ok baby are you ready to shift back? " My dad asked

I said yes but then realized he couldn't hear me so I nodded yes. He started to tell me to focus on my human form and feeling my bones shift back into place. A few moments later I realized I was on the ground naked. Neo took his shirt off and handed it to me.

"Thank you" I said to neo

"How was that honey?" My dad asked

"It was great now i've never experienced something like that before." I said happy

He smiles at me as we all started walking back to school. We all walked in school to see hope waiting for us. I ran up to her and hugged her.

"Hey is everything good?" She asked

"Yea I'm good I shifted for the first time!" I said excited

She looks at me excitedly. She yells for raf to come over.

"You, me and raf need to go on a run together immediately." She says with excitement

"We definitely need to, just let me go get a change of clothes." I say making my way to my room

Once I get to my room I grab one of neo's shirt, a pair of shorts and my vans and head to the woods. Once I get there I see raf and hope waiting for me with their own clothes.

"Ok I'm ready" I said shifting
