Make It Easy

Chapter 2

Octavia and Murphy must have been waiting for what seemed like an hour when they heard yelling on the other side of the door "I'll go stay here with her and here," Octavia removed one of her blades handing it to Murphy "just in case they get past us. Nothing happens to Clarke."

"Octavia, be careful." Octavia nodded and went to open the door to find Indra with Grounders standing behind her making her way to the front of the group she looked at Titus who seemed anxious and upset. With Grounders behind him as well. "What do you want Titus?"

"To remove Clarke! She is not to be here. The kill order is in effect. To remove all of you."

"Did you not hear your Heda before she left?" Octavia stated as she stood up to him "She is to wait here until the return of our Commander and disobedience I am sure she will be dealing with when she arrives." As she said this she looked to the other Grounders who seemed to be questioning what they were doing so a few of them walked off but others stayed for Titus. "We are to protect her so just know your deaths will not be punishable by death the Heda will let it be." Octavia removed her other blade along with a dagger and the Grounders behind her did the same drawing their own blades along with Indra who stood by her side. 

"That will not be necessary," A thunderous voice filled the hall making everyone freeze in the spot that they were in "remove Titus and throw him in a cell along with any who sided with him as well." The Grounders that stood behind Indra and Octavia moved to removed the others "How is she?" Abby asked Octavia as they walked back into the chambers "We've sedated her and Murphy stitch her up since Lex confirmed the bullet had went through and we wrapped her up."

Abby nodded as everyone stood in the background as she unwrapped her daughter looking over each stitch then wrapped her back up not before putting some ointment onto the wound. "You guys did a good job but she will be on bedrest for at least two days and the arm will need to be in a sling for a week or so." 

"Thank you," Lexa said "I will be lifting or making a exception for the four of you on the kill order so that there is no trouble. I am not planning to let Clarke out of my sight until she is better then she will decide if she wants to return to Arkadia with the rest of your people. I will have rooms for you until then one of the guards will let you know when you can come down for dinner."

The guard had come in to retrieve the rest of the Skaikru people, Abby wanted to stay, but she knew how Lexa felt for her daughter so she left for now, promising she'd return later in the night to say goodnight to her daughter. Octavia on the other hand was the first to refuse "I won't leave her side, Heda. I will stay outside at the door if you do not mind."

Lexa clenched her jaw seeing as the Skai girl hadn't left, Octavia was the one that had always been beside Clarke, if not it was Raven. Heda sighed not wanting to fight her "You may stay inside her chambers Octavia as I have to attend other things, but make sure no one else comes into her room unless it is her mother. Understood?"

Octavia nodded and as Lexa walked out she relaxed a bit more and looked over to Clarke who was peacefully asleep. It was something that her and Clarke had wanted was just peace, the mess had happened, things went wrong, their people along with Lexa's people had caused a mess. The brunette took the chair close to Clarke's bed and sat there just watching, listening, and waiting it was until an hour or so later that Clarke had begun to stir in her bed yet slowly the blonde had woken up. "Clarke?"

"Octavia?" Clarke held her arm "I was trying to make it to you, I swear, I got caught up with Titus." 

Octavia smiled "You're fine and he's fine," the blonde hardly ever worried about herself something that was a good and bad quality of hers "you just need to rest, your mother was here and checked you over. Abby said you will be on bed rest for another day and your arm will be in a sling for at least another week or so but do you want me to go get Lexa?"

"Gimme a minute," Clarke took a deep breath in and out "what's going to happen with Titus?"

"Lexa had him and a couple of grounders thrown into a cell, I'm guessing that's what she had been dealing with, him hurting you is a betrayal to her so she won't take that lightly."

"I know," Clarke groaned as she moved to sit a bit straight and notice Octavia flinch to move, to help her, but waited "I won't be able to fight her on that but why did she go get my mom?"

"To check you over in case and plans to keep us here until you are better whether you choose to go to Arkadia or stay here with her. I wouldn't blame you if you stayed with her though, Murphy told me you had barely been coming into your room, so that you could leave. He kind of put two and two together I just never would have imagined to be honest since the both of you are always so formal or at each others throats for something. "

"We had a kiss earlier on actually," Clarke gave a soft laugh "it was in her tent when I was fighting her for you."

"Who kissed who?"

"She kissed me the first time," Clarke grinned "I kissed her this last time then we...,"

"You guys fucked you can say that Clarke." Octavia laughed
