Clarke had gotten up and moving not long after her mother left her chambers with a mission to find Lexa. "Clarke!" That voice belong to the one and only Raven and was she glad to hear it as she turned around to Raven she embraced her tightly "I heard you and the Commander heart eyes are a thing," she grinned and Clarke shook her head "also I hear you need a radio as well."

"We are I might give you details but I do need that radio first before anything." Lexa walked up behind Raven "Lexa."

"I've brought Raven I am guessing she will get to work on the radio and you need to be in bed you are still healing Clarke."

Raven rose a brow at Clarke then looked over her friends body to find that the girl had a bandage on her abdomen which she was also holding as well. "What did you do now, Clarke?"

"I was shot," Clarke grunted a bit and Raven threw the blonde's arm over her shoulder "thanks Reyes."

"Yeah, no problemo. I will get her back to her room Commander heart eyes then I can start gathering the things I need for a radio did you need anything else?"

"I can take her Raven," Lexa cleared her throat "then you can find Octavia and go into the market to find the things you will be needing for the radio."

"We can all head back to my chambers then you and Octavia can leave just be careful."

"Copy that." They made it to Clarke's chambers and Raven sat Clarke back into her bed then kicked Octavia's boot who was knocked out cold in the chair. "What the hell!"

"What if I was an intruder?" Raven looked at Octavia who merely shook her head at the other brunette "Missed you too; we got a mission so let's go."

Octavia stood putting on her armor and weapons back in their rightful places before looking over at Lexa who merely nodded to dismiss her. "Raven is a bundle of excitement," Lexa commented as they had left "also what is Commander heart eyes?"

Clarke laughed although it hurt a bit  "She is surprisingly still with all this chaos and it just means you have eyes for someone you love very much which you make obvious to her."

"Huh," Lexa nodded "she was rather talkative on the way back."

Clarke shook her head it was moments like this that lived for, these small moments, where everything seemed fine. It was nice to enjoy them for a couple of minutes "Raven is...,"

"Raven?" Lexa looked at Clarke noticing the lost look, not the not knowing what to do look, but the look of happiness for just a couple of seconds.

"Raven is amazing is all. She manages to keep a smile on through everything even with what we are living through the moment and I am not sure what I would do without her or you for that matter." It was then Lexa understood why Clarke was always so protective of her friends, they had their purpose in Clarke's life, and in turn Clarke in theirs. Clarke wasn't just their leader, she was their friend, their family, and in turn them to her it amazed her that it took so long for her to notice. Then again Lexa saw everyone as her family except she was okay with the sacrifices that had to be made whereas Clarke was not, Lexa felt they were two halves of a whole, and she was happy about it. "Lexa?"

"Yes?"

"Have you been listening?" Clarke knew she wasn't but it seemed the Commander had come to a realization and wondered what that could be.

"No," Lexa said blandly "I was lost in my thoughts my apologies, Clarke."

"That's fine," Clarke smiled "want to talk about those thoughts?" They moved to sit down of the fur covered bed and Lexa looked to her with a small smile playing at her lips. "I realized why you protect your friends so much."

"Oh?"

"Each of them have their purpose to you just like you do to them, but it isn't just how I am to my people. Yes, I see my people as family but your circle, your friends, Octavia and Raven for example, you'd not go anywhere without them, and you console them for everything. Which is great because it shows you do not always make those decisions alone and you always have them to fall back on. Whereas mine is consisted of council members that I cannot even trust and there is much trouble within that, and it's made me realize that I should start re-thinking my own council if I ever want peace amongst the clans."

Clarke nodded "I think you are right but if you want to do that you need to get out amongst the clans more often and find council members you actually can trust but it is something you will have to do slowly. It will take time, but I think you are going about this the right way, Lexa. I feel like you could be the Commander to bring peace to your lands and not have to fight any more wars after this one."

Lexa nodded in agreement with Clarke knowing that if she was to go about it that way it would be a long and grueling process only to just find people she trusts from each clan. It was like starting over completely and at a time like this it would be even hard but the more that she thought about the ending result. Well, it made it even more convincing to her to do it only to just convince her people into doing it after she had found the new council members and to put them in their rightful spots. The Commander wanted members she trusted and also wanted for their people, not just for power, or to try and overthrow her but to actually want peace for their people. It seemed hard to achieve but it was what made her want to do it even more, Lexa wanted her reign as Commander to be different, so as Commander she'd have to do things differently.
