It was the trip of a lifetime. I was told I get to go to Katsucon for my college graduation present from my dad. This was told to me months in advance. Which I'm thankful for because now I have time to plan out everything for the convention. Cosplaying was one of my side passions, aside from my life long hobbies that I had made into my career. I work with anime and manga, it's one of the best things to happen to me, working with something that helped me through so much. Fun fact, during college I studied abroad in japan. Now I do all my work from home, it's still eventful. Yes I'm fluent in Japanese, I wouldn't be working in this industry if I wasn't. Japan was fun, but something about Katsucon is going to be more intriguing.
I decided to hit up my friend since highschool, and con buddy, Cameron.
(Bold- you , italics- Cameron)
Hey Cameron, my dads graduation present for me is me going to katsucon, and I was curious if you wanted to go. I could come and get you or your mom could meet me halfway???
Hey (Y/N), hell yeah I'd love to go! I'll talk to my mom, but I'm pretty sure she'd be chill with meeting you halfway.
Ok bet! You'd be ok with driving the whole way to the con right?
Yeah I'm good with that, it's more scenery, meaning more pics can be taken. Also my mom just responded and she's ok with meeting you halfway.
Bet!!! We can start planning stuff soon! Talk to you laterrr.
I was so thankful her mom agreed to meet halfway, because driving from Ohio down to Mississippi is a longggg time. Plus I'd have to turn right around to head to Maryland where the con is held. Anyway, here's to the start of a dream come true. See you soon Katsucon!
