I'm Alive

" I'M ALIVE "

 I'm alive

For the first time in ages

I feel more alive, not just existing but alive

With the loud thuds of live music engulfing me all overly, 

I feel more alive

With people in pain shouting their agony and hatred

Around me,

I feel more alive

With the sudden outburst of energy

Kept hidden in the very inside of all of us

I feel more alive

  

Without the things that blind us from reality

I feel more alive

With a single desire to free ourselves

From the shackles of what has society taught us

I feel more alive

With the feeling of flying,

Dipped harshly into mixture of all shades of emotion,

Feeling ecstatic

I feel more alive

  

Without the worry of what burden

Tomorrow or the day after it might bring 

I feel more alive

Just solidly fitting in

In everyone's cracked flaws,

Trying to blend with everyone

Who has their own crooked heart

I feel more alive
