"THE FEAR OF FALLING"
As I open my eyes
I found myself standing,
Standing at the verge of a cliff
And underneath it was nothing,
An absence of everythingI shiver as coldness embrace me
my mind went crowded,
Pre-occupied by how should I feel from this very pointFor the second time around,
I look down at my feet
And from nowhere I found you beneath
Your expression undeterminedThen our eyes met,
And by that I feel I was about to explode
It's as if all my emotions summed up then collide inside me
Trying to escape with its massive force
Trying to tear me apart into pieces
My feelings now unidentifiedBut seconds after, fear dominates me
I can hardly breathe
That is when I realize that I am too scared
I am too frightened
I am too anxious
I am too afraid to fall,
Not just in the literal senseBut also figuratively
