"Oh my gosh," I said to my parents at the dinner table. "Mom, dad, if you're joking then this isn't really funny."
"Rapunzel darling, why would we ever joke about something like that?" Her Mom replied stroking her short, silky hair.
"This is to good to be true!" She said in a high-pitched voice. "We're moving to California!"
"Yes, and we leave next week." Her father said.
"Finally, a chance to catch up with Merida!"
"But I thought you said that she wasn't answering your emails, or your texts. Don't you find that a little...odd?" Her mother said.
"What? Odd? No, no, no, no, no! Me and Merida are BFFLs, best friends for life, mom."
"Okay, what ever you say darling."
"So, what school am I going to?" She asked her parents.
"Well, The Mystic High School seems very academically based, so we got you in."
"That's great! It's the same school Merida goes to!" She shrieked. "This is going to be the start of my new life!"
"New life?" Her mom asked. "Since when does new life start at 16?"
"Since always mom! Now I'm going to go to my room and start packing!" Rapunzel yelled running to her room.
