This is based on yours truly being sick right now. It's mostly a mild fever, but I still hate it. *cough cough*

Enjoy reading, my little readers.

"ACHOO!!"

I sniffled and groaned. I hated being sick. Say what you want, but there is nothing worse to me than being bed ridden and ill. Sure you get the day off, but you have to spend it lying in bed in complete and utter agony.

I hardly ever get sick, but when I do it's probably the one thing in the world that makes me truly want to die. Seriously, who wants to be sick? Everything hurts, you feel like you're dying, and no medicine or remedy or whatever seems to work.

Once again, I hate being sick. Always have, always will.

"ACHOO!! ACHOO!! ACHOO!!!"

I slumped against my pillow tiredly, cursing at whichever deity was listening for making me sick. I blew my nose into yet another tissue; unfortunately that happened to be my last one. Great. Grumbling to myself about being so wasteful, I tossed it away. I wanted to get up to get more, but my body simply refused to obey.

I groaned once more, also cursing out Jordan for getting me sick. He had a cold a few weeks ago, and somehow I caught it while taking care of him. Just my luck too; me and the girls were supposed to have movie night at Vans' house, but I had to call and say I couldn't go.

Needless to say, I was not happy right now.

"You ok Kayla?".

I lifted my head to look up at Jordan, who had come into my room. I gave him an annoyed look and asked, "What do you-" I cut myself off by coughing a bit. "What do-" I cut myself off again with another one. "What-" Ok screw it; I started coughing like crazy, up to the point where I could barely breathe.

I felt Jordan's hand on my back, rubbing slow, soothing circles. "Easy, easy there babe", he muttered. "Try to breathe. I'll get you some water and Benadryl, ok?"

I weakly nodded, my coughing fit finally over. My chest and throat were burning, and it really hurt to breathe, but I was able to get enough air in my lungs to ask, "Can you get me some more tissues too? And maybe make me some soup?"

My voice was painfully hoarse, but Jordan was still able to make out what I said. He smiled and nodded. "Sure; I'll be back soon."

He leaned forward to give me a kiss on my forehead, but I pushed him away, albeit in a more lethargic form. "I don't want to get you sick", I rasped.

Jordan rolled his eyes playfully. "In case your snot filled brain forgot, I was sick awhile ago. Trust me, I'll be fine." With that, he pressed a light peck on my forehead. "Besides", he said, starting to walk out the door. "I can't catch your sickness from your head, right?"

I gave him a playful glare before slumping my head back against my pillow. I felt more tired than before, and all I wanted to do was sleep. It usually helped, but not for long.

'Ugh, why me?', I thought to myself. I started to feel myself drift away into the peaceful land of slumber, but I shook myself out of it long enough to stay awake. As much as I wanted to sleep, I really do need the Benadryl and tissues.

To take my mind off my sickness, I leaned over to my right, where my nightstand was, and grabbed my phone. It wouldn't hurt to play some games, maybe watch a video or two while waiting for Jordan. I pulled up Roblox and started to play.

One hour later...

"Knock knock! I got what you asked for Kayla!"

I jolted awake a little, startled by Jordan's voice. Did I fall asleep? For how long? Clearing my throat as best as I could, I called out weakly, "It's-" I coughed slightly. "It's open!"

The door opened, revealing Jordan and surprisingly, the girls. I blinked in confusion, but before I could say something I sneezed a little.

Sam chuckled. "Still out of it huh?"

I gave her a mock glare, sniffling a bit, and asked, "I was expecting Jordan only; why are you guys here?"

Ali rolled her eyes playfully. "What do you think? You were sick and couldn't come to the sleepover, so why not bring the sleepover to you?"

I blinked in shock, staring at them. "Seriously?"

Bee smiled shyly. "Of course. We didn't want you to feel left out, so we decided to come over and watch a few movies. If that's alright with you."

I smiled weakly. "It is. Thanks you guys", I said, coughing a bit more.

Jordan grinned. "Alright, here's your tissues and soup." He placed them down beside me, but something was missing.

I frowned a little. "Where's the medicine?"

"Right here."

"Wha-" I was cut off when a spoon was suddenly stuffed in my mouth, but a rather bitter taste answered my question. I almost sputtered, but I was able to swallow the bitter medicine and gave Jordan an unimpressed look.

He merely smiled mischievously. "What? It's not like you'd be able to do it on your own."

I swatted his arm playfully. "You're the worst, you know that?"

Jordan smirked before leaning in and giving me another peck, this one much deeper, on my forehead. "Yeah but you still love me." He then handed me a glass of water.

I cracked a smile, taking a sip. "Yeah, I know. Now come on, let's go watch some movies. Think you can carry me?" I finished drinking and smirked at him.

Jordan gave me one right back. "What do you think?" Before I could answer, he carefully picked me and shifted me into a bridal position. I blushed, but didn't say anything, even when the girls snickered and awwed.

Jordan carried me out the door, with Sam, Bee and Ali following closely behind. Ali had my tissues, and Sam was carrying my soup. Bee was also carrying my empty glass, probably to refill it for me.

I smiled sleepily to myself, feeling myself drift away once again. I didn't want to miss movie night, but I figured a little nap wouldn't hurt.

'I'm the luckiest girl in the world", I thought to myself, finally going to sleep.
