The guys left a couple hours later, so I could just cuddle with my baby for awhile.
Tears were shed here and there and the stress was unbearibal. Gerard missed his own baby's birth.
I ddin't really know if it was mad at him or not, though. He didn't know I was in labor; but it wasn't wise to leave your nine-month pregnant girlfriend home alone in the middle of the night, and the boys did call.
I tried to put that out of my mind. This didn't mean he wouldn't be a good father.
I decided I should get some rest. All those hours of pushing can tire someone out.
The nurse came on and put my baby to bed on a blanketless baby-crib before I dosed off to sleep.
