"We need to sneak into one of the training camps," Viper said, "It's the only way to actually find the prince if he is a prisoner there."

"And if he isn't then we're trapped there," Bear argued.

We had been on the road for a while now, and we still had no luck with finding the prince. Everyone was getting frustrated, we were trapped inside a small cart most of the time and we lived in constant fear of being found by the Blanks, now we were expected to just give ourselves up to them.

Bear had healed nicely, although he still struggled to walk properly on his injured leg. Luckily for him, his extra strength helped to speed up the already enhanced healing process thanks to Spider's help.

The camp that Viper was planning on getting into wasn't just any camp, it was the one I used to be trapped in. According to another one of Raven's sources, this was where the prince was, so now we had to figure out how to get in. I never wanted to step foot in that place again and I told Viper that, I had never known freedom until I left, and I will never see the inside of that place again.

I was afraid. I was scared that they would recognise me, that the others would escape, and I wouldn't. I was worried that this was all some plan to put me back, so they could run. Despite the fact that I had been imprisoned and forced to fight my whole life, I had seen more than anyone else here ever had. None of them had ever looked at one of their creations, none of them had ever seen what it could do.

I never heard the rest of Bear and Viper's argument, but I did hear the "They're coming," spoken at barely a whisper by Fox.

All of us stopped.

We were all inside the cart as it was night and we were covered by the trees. The sound of stomping grew louder, it was all we could hear. Maybe there were lots of them, or maybe we were just panicking.

It sounded like an army was coming, but there was only one hand that knocked on the side of the cart. There was only one voice and one breath outside. There was only one order that the person spoke, "Soldiers! This is General Louis Carter, there has been a supply cart stolen and I need to you to stand outside whilst I inspect the cart."

"Damn it!" Viper swore under her breath, "Stay quiet and don't move."

"Soldiers, if you don't cooperate I will be forced to drag you out and report you under suspicion of treason!"

"I'll get out," Raven offered, "My shift was last and I'm the only one in uniform."

"Shouldn't one of the guys go?" Viper said, "They don't have female Blanks."

"I'll hide my hair, trust me, it'll be okay. We don't have time to argue."

"Fine," Viper said, "But be careful."

Raven quickly tucked her hair under her cap and hopped out of the cart, we couldn't see what was happening and we could barely hear anything, either, all we could do was sit and wait in nervous silence.

Soon enough, Raven's head popped through the cart and we all sighed in relief, that relieved feeling was short-lived though, as a Blank could also be seen stood behind Raven.

"Raven," Bear pointed out, "He's behind you."

"Oh, I know," Raven said, which was probably even more concerning.

"Why is he just stood there?" Fox asked, "Surely he could've killed us all by now?"

"He isn't going to kill anyone," Raven promised.

"How do you know that?" I asked.

"Just trust me, he's a friend. Can we come in, so I can explain?"
