"We're not dissing your feelings for her," Namjoon chided, tipping the pitcher to add more beer to Taehyung's glass, "We're not even denying them." He looked at him softly, his mouth growing tight at the corners, "It's just that we film after this vacation, in another country. Plus we have tour after that AND," he held up his hand, "Let's not forget that you live in Korea while Frankie lives in the US."
"Technically, she lives all over the world," Jimin defended for his friend, "Not in Korea, but she doesn't really keep just one house. She has to travel to all of her restaurants all the time."
"So what would be the difference if she kept one more in Seoul?" Tae asked, "Or if I kept one for her?"
"Are you really considering buying a house just for a girl you've only known for a week?" Yoongi asked his eyes wide and curious.
"No. Yes. I don't know," Tae scrubbed his hand over his face, "I don't know what's come over me. I feel like I'd saw off my arm right now, if it meant I could have her by my side."
"Whoa," Jin dropped his jaw, "I think you've got it bad, Tae."
"Why is everyone talking like that is a bad thing?" Tae threw his hands up.
"We're not," Namjoon interjected, "But you know the stress and complications that come with dating when we are where we are and with our schedules. You've been through it, you've seen us go through it." His eyes looked at Tae with deep concern, "Maybe you should just...be sure she's got it as bad as you do before you start making plans."
"And how am I supposed to do that?"
"Hear me out," Yoongi leaned forward, face serious, "It's a complicated process to find out her feelings, so listen carefully."
"Okay."
"Ask her."
"I hate you."
Taehyung laughed with his friends as they changed subjects, but he was rolling the thoughts and fears about Frankie around in the back of his mind. He knew Yoongi was right, the best way to find out how Frankie felt was to ask Frankie. She wasn't the type to mince words, and didn't seem the type to hold back her feelings even if they scared her, but there was a level of potential rejection that Tae wasn't sure he could deal with when it came to Frankie.
She simply wasn't like anyone he had ever slept with, dated, or even met. Yes, it had only been a week, and yes, most of that had consisted of copious amounts of sex, but they also talked, laughed, and spent time together between bouts on the bed. He had learned how passionate she was about her work, and how tough she had to be in order to get where she was, both personally and professionally...yet how kind and soft she could be despite all of that. How she put food out on the balcony for the birds and squirrels every night, and how she cried so easily at sad or happy parts in shows and movies. How she held his hand and sat close to him without even thinking about it, just to share their space together.
How she submitted to him so sublimely, letting him take control of her. How she needed him to let her be soft to counteract how strong she had to be in the other aspects of her life, and how she knew he needed to dominate her in order to counteract how little control he had over his life as an idol. If he thought that her personality was a good match for him, sexually she was his perfect pairing.
Just thinking about her was putting a goofy smile on his face and tightening his pants uncomfortably.
He carried on with his friends, trying to be attentive and not rush out to track down his girl before 10pm. He just had to make it another couple of hours.
