i woke up to the bright sunlight shining through my window. i blinked and turned to my boyfriend jeremy, who was peacefully sleeping beside me. i sat up in the bed and looked at him. he looked so adorable when he was asleep. so sweet and innocent, too. i smiled to myself as i stroked his hair, listening to him snore softly. i looked back out the window and watched the trees gently swaying in the wind underneath the morning sun. it was a very beautiful morning. i got out of bed to make some coffee for jeremy and i, giving jeremy a quick kiss on the forehead before leaving the room. i went into the kitchen and started making the coffee. as i was reaching for the mugs in the cabinet, i felt someone wrapping their arms around me from behind. i turned my head to see jeremy standing behind me with a smile on his face.
"good morning babe," he whispered, pulling me closer to him.
"good morning love," i replied, resting my head on his shoulder. "sleep well?"
"yeah i did. how bout you?" he asked.
"uh huh." i turned around to face him. the sun shone from the kitchen window onto my face. it didn't bother me however. in fact, i kinda liked the way it felt. i noticed that jeremy was staring at me in admiration.
"what?" i asked, smiling a little.
"you're just so pretty," he replied.
then he leaned forward and kissed me gently on the lips, in which i returned the kiss and wrapped my arms around his neck. the kiss got more passionate as jeremy picked me up and sat me down on the counter. we finally let go and i smiled at him.
"so what are you gonna make me for breakfast?"
"i thought you were gonna make me breakfast," jeremy replied with a small laugh.
"i made breakfast yesterday! please?" i made a pouty face. "i made you some coffee."
"alright," said jeremy. "i'll make breakfast. what do you want to eat?"
"pancakes!" i exclaimed.
"then pancakes it is," said jeremy, setting me down from the counter.
"but i'd be happy to help you make them," i offered.
"aw thank you, y/n. you're the best," said jeremy. he put his arm around me. "i love you so much."
"i love you too," i said, giving him another kiss on the lips before we began making our pancakes.
