"Girl you ready?" My roommate yelled out to me.

"Been ready hoe, waiting on you..." I responded, slightly rolling my eyes and continuing to play Cooking Fever.

"Girl I can't believe this," she started, walking out the bathroom and over to me. "You're finally going to a party. Your lame ass is finally going to a party!" She emphasized.

"Chill before I decide to stay here," I said, pausing cooking fever to reapply my lipgloss.

She rolled her eyes and picked up her purse. "Time to head out."

This house was a decent looking house, nice furniture and everything but that's not the main focus.

Apparently this was a party Stokeley decided to throw. I always thought he was fine as hell and was surprised that he told Zoie to specifically bring me. It made me a little nervous, actually.

"Yooooo!" Gabe exclaimed, greeting us and giving us hugs.

"Hey," I smiled, hugging him back. Zoie did the same.

"How the hell did Zo get you to come bro this is like some outta this world shit, seeing you at a party right now," he babbled.

"She's good at persuading folks," I responded, damn near yelling over the music. I felt the bass throughout my body. I looked around briefly to scan the scene and it really was hella people in this bitch. Some were taking pictures and videos, some smoking, some drinking, and others dancing.

"Shiiit I see. Anyways y'all should come outside, that's where Ski at." We followed him out there and it was like a whole other dimension. There was a lot more people outside than inside, and there was a pool so you already know how that goes.

"Hey Ski!" Zoie exclaimed, talking to some dude with face tats and a durag. I knew it was him.

"Yooooo," he responded, giving her a side hug and doing the same for me.

"Hey," I said lowly.

"Shy ass," I heard him say.

"You gotta get to know me first."

"And that's why I invited you."

"I was wondering why." I looked off into the distance and Zoie was in the pool.

"Y'all tryna play Spin the Bottle?" Gabe asked, coming from who knows where.

Stokeley smirked and looked at me. "Let's do it."

I shrugged and followed them inside.

I heard wet footsteps behind us and turned around along with Ski and Gabe. It was Zoie following us with a towel around her because she was in the pool.

"Hell naw man, you can't come in wet so just turn around," Gabe told her. She rolled her eyes.

"I'll be right back boo, be safe," I said to her. She looked between me and Ski and winked before turning around.

I rolled my eyes playfully and kept walking with them. Gabe led us to a big room upstairs, one with hella space. It was quite empty with the exception of about 6 other people. He started playing well known music that he was sure everybody liked, I mean I did.

We sat in a circle, random spots. When I looked up I saw that I was almost directly across from Stokeley. Oh lordy.

"Somebody spin," Gabe ordered.

Some white girl spinned the bottle and it landed on Gabe and another guy, so they spinned again. I know that was awkward.

The next spin was the white girl and the boy Gabe had been matched with. They kissed and it moved on. After watching more and more spins, I made the decision to get on my phone. It had been a while since I had checked it.

Surprisingly enough, I stumbled upon Ski's Instagram page. Before I could lurk a little bit or even look at his Instagram @ once again, I looked at the floor ahead of me to see that the bottle's top was facing me. I looked up and the other side was facing Stokeley.

He made eye contact with me and came over to me. In my ear he whispered, "Finally.. chill with me in another room."
