The title is eye-catching.
I loved the title as it creates suspense and mystery.
2)Cover = 5.5/10
I didn't like the cover much. The cover is too simple.
I would suggest making the cover more artistic and charming.
The Cover of the book attracts most readers. So better to make it more intriguing.
3)Story plot=6.5/10
The story revolves around a girl named River who joins an underground security organization.
So far, I have found the story engrossing. Though there were many parts that bored me.
The writer should work more on the story. Also, try to cut out unnecessary parts. Don't dwell on one thing for too long. The book has a good story plot but it needs a huge amount of work.
4) Grammar &Writing style= 5.8/10
The use of grammar is adequate. There were a few grammatical errors.
I liked the writing style. Though I would suggest elaborating more properly and use more words or synonyms in that matter. Try to express what the character is feeling.
5)Character development=4.2/10
As for character development, I am not that much satisfied. As a reader, I was not pleased with the development. It was weak.
The writer is advised to elaborate on the changes in the protagonist's feelings and attitude.
6)Setting = 4.7/10
While reading the parts of the story, so far I was confused about the setting. I had to read the same part more than once to understand where the scenes are taking place.
The writer is advised to introduce and elaborate on the setting of the scenes first and then proceed.
7) Point of view=(-)
The writer has not used POVs.
8) Theme = 7.8/10
The theme of the book is Action. I was happy and pleased as the story began with the theme being highlighted.
A writer should always introduce the theme of the story to the reader first. And that's what has been done in this book.
I loved the opening scene and how it created a bit of mystery as well as anticipation to read more.
9) Literary Devices = 6.5/10
Having read the story so far, I didn't find much use of the literacy devices. However, whatever devices used were quite sufficient.
10)Overall enjoyment = 7.6/10
I have enjoyed reading it, except noticing many flaws. It's a good book for action readers.
Nevertheless, I have pointed out those flaws and I hope the writer rectifies them and improves the story.
I wish the writer a good life ahead and hope to read more from him.
To conclude, I give this book a rating of 7.6/10.
