1)Title = 7.3/10
I liked the cover. It fits the theme of the story as well as the protagonist. There's a bit of suspense in the title. It compels a reader to become curious and therefore, she/he connects to the book.
2) Cover =6.9/10
The cover is nice. It portrays the girl who plays the protagonist of the story.
I would suggest to make it a little bit more attractive and artistic. By doing so, the book will grab more eyes.
3)Story plot=8.9/10
Personally, I don't read or have any liking for teen fiction. But after reading it so far, I can say, I found the writer's teen fiction book as my personal favorite. I loved the story plot!
There aren't many flaws in it. I also loved the romance in it (some are mature content!) I hope the writer updates fast cause I wanna read more of it.
4) Grammar &Writing style=7.9/10
The writing style used is simple and clean. I didn't find any problems reading it. There weren't many grammatical mistakes, except a few minor ones.
The writer is advised to check her book thoroughly and add in a few extras if she feels right. The more, the better.
5)Character development=7.7/10
The writer has developed the character smartly. The book isn't finished yet, so there are more parts that would develop her. So far, it's satisfactory.
6)Setting = 6.1/10
Although I understood the setting, I would still advise the writer to add more descriptions of the settings of the scenes. This will help the readers to imagine more accurately as he/she reads the parts.
7) Point of view= (-)
POVs are not used in the book.
8) Theme = 9.2/10
The theme is teen fiction and romance.
As stated above, the theme is beautifully highlighted and executed.
For a non-teen fiction reader, I am impressed.
Only advice, add more twists!
9) Literary Devices =7.4/10
Not many devices are used. Metaphors and cliffhangers are used in the right places.
The writer is advised to use more devices as possible...but in an adequate amount.
10)Overall enjoyment = 9.4/10
I absolutely loved the book. Being a non-teen fiction reader, this book is now my personal favorite and I can't wait to read more of it.
The writer has executed her choice of genre and is doing a good job.
There are just mild flaws which I have pointed out. And I hope the writer rectifies them.
To conclude, this book is a must-read not just for teen fiction readers but also for those who enjoy a good romance.
I wish the writer a good life ahead and hope to read more from her.
Therefore, I give this book a rating of 9.4/10.
