"Come on, come on! I wanna ride the teacups!" Bakugo pulled on his mom's shirt with Kirishima in tow, pointing to the ride.
"Okay, come on then!" Mitsuki grabbed hold on the two boy's hands and walked over to the short line just as the ride came to a stop.
After the ride was cleared, they were able to sit down in the teacup bakugo picked, he bounced excitedly in his seat, the worker closing the small door to the ride.
"Kiri! Help me turn the table!" Bakugo grabbed hold on the small wheel in the centre of the cup, as it began to spin lightly.
The sound of music filled the air as the teacups began to move around in a circle, the two boys giggling wildly as they continued to spin the cup.
A few minutes later and the ride came to a stop, both boys still laughing as Mitsuki walked them out of the exit.
"Where to next, boys? It's Kirishima's turn to pick a ride!" Mitsuki looked down at the six year old whose eyes lit up as he scanned the map that Bakugo gave him.
As he looked over all the rides, one stuck out to him and he pointed at it, unable to read the name of the ride. He watched Mitsuki take the map from him and look at his choice.
"Splash Mountain it is!" Mitsuki gave the map back to Kirishima who clutched it tightly as they made their way over to the ride.
When they reached the line, Kirishima looked up excitedly, watching the log filled with people make its way around the mountain until it came to the slope and rushed down, spraying water everywhere as it came to a stop.
Kirishima felt his stomach do a little flip, now that he had watched the ride, it looked a little scary.
He looked at Bakugo, worried and biting his lower lip, but quickly smiled when Bakugo grabbed hold of his hand and squeezed it.
"Don't worry, Kiri! I'll protect you!" Bakugo put a hand on his hips and gave a confident smile, proudly looking up at the ride.
A few more minutes and they were strapped in, waiting for the employee to start the ride. The two boys waiting excitedly in their seats.
The log began to move and a few small kids yelled gleefully, Bakugo snorted at this and looked at Kirishima who was nervously looking down at his Lightning McQueen Crocs.
"I said I would protect you, didn't I?" Bakugo grabbed Kirishima's hand and held it in his lap, continuing to smile as they came around the bend, and they slowly started to climb the hill.
"Here it comes!" Bakugo raised his arms, Kirishima's hand still tightly wrapped around his.
There was a moments pause before the log began to fall, water splashing up around the two, Kirishima screamed with excitement as the rush of wind blew through his hair.
"That was amazing! Can we please go again? Please!" Kirishima jumped up and down, tugging on Mitsuki's shirt.
"Of course, Kirishima!"

Present day
Here they were, back at Disneyland a whole nineteen years later, just the two of them this time.
"Hey babe, can we do Splash Mountain?" Kirishima looked at Bakugo with pleading eyes, his lip curving up into a smile when Bakugo rolled his eyes and nodded.
"Come on, shitty hair" Bakugo took his boyfriend's hand as they made their way to the surprisingly empty line.
Only a few minutes of waiting and they were in their seat, ready for the ride to start.
"It has been so long since we've been on this ride! I'll never forget what you told me all those years ago..." Kirishima trailed off, fumbling with something in his pocket, nervously looking at Bakugo.
"I'll protect you!" Bakugo smiled as he turned to Kirishima who was facing him, a small box in hand and a crimson colour spread across his cheeks.
"I want you to protect me for the rest of our lives... Katsuki Bakugo, will you marry me?" Kirishima opened the small box to reveal a ring, not flashy, simple, which bakugo liked when it came to jewelry.
Bakugo's vision quickly became blurry as he tried to force back the tears that so desperately wanted to fall down his cheeks.
"Of course, Kiri... you're the love of my life. And I'll be damned if I lose you." Bakugo reached out to let Kirishima slip the ring onto his finger, then leaned in and kissed his now fiancé, happy tears slipping down his cheeks.
"I love you, Kat."
"I love you too, Ei."
