When we pulled up to the house, I grabbed my bag, got out of the car and waved goodbye. My mom gave me half a smile and drove off without saying a word.
I pulled my bag to my shoulder and trudged to the front door. I knocked and a medium-height woman with brown hair answered the door. She looked surprised to see me standing there.
My dad was behind her, wearing a Penn State sweatshirt. (He was a big wrestler during both his high school and college years).
"Brit! Hey kiddo!", he seemed excited to see me. He noticed me eyeing the woman and he introduced us to each other. "Britney, meet Susan. Susan, this is my daughter, Britney."
"Nice to meet you", she smiled.
"Nice to meet you as well.", I smiled and stepped inside of the house.
"Well, glad to meet you both! Come by anytime." And with that she walked out the door.
"Who is she?" I politely asked.
"Her and her family just moved in next door a few days ago. They have three kids- two 14 year old boys, that are twins, and a daughter who's 17." My dad seemed excited. "Maybe I'll go over after I unpack." I smiled.

There were still some old clothes from the last time I was here. I unpacked and changed into a cuter outfit. I put on a white flow-y tank top with a gray sweater over it and wore my expensive yoga pants. I put my hair into a low bun and put on some makeup.

I walked downstairs putting on my pink sandals and grabbing my iPhone from the counter. "I'm going to go next door and say hello." I informed my dad. He nodded, too wrapped up in some basketball game to actually reply.

I went outside. The sky was blue with few clouds and it was the perfect temperature. I walked up to the neighbors front door. I noticed their front doormat, which read "The Dolans." I smiled and knocked on the door.
