Ash a 10 year old girl gets kidnapped while she is waiting in the car, she is counting on some one to find her but after 6 years pass she gives up all hope until her kidnapper accidently leaves the door open and she finds people to help her get home
I opened my eyes and I was in Sam's bed. I felt bad for making him have to sleep somewhere else. I got out of the bed and walked out into the kitchen. Sam, Colby, and one other guy were asleep on the couch and Kat was cooking something in the kitchen.
"goodmorning." I said.
"morning sleepy head." she said smiling cheerfully.
I brought over some clothes that you can wear, they're in that bag" Kat said pointing to a bag on the floor. I walked over to the bag got out the clothes and then changed in the bathroom.

After I changed I put my clothes in the bag and left it on the floor.
"you look so good!" Kat said smiling.
"thank you." I replied.
I sat at a barstool and watched her cook.
"watcha making?" I said curiously.
"cinnomon rolls, there Sam's favorite." Kat said smiling
"yum." I siad.
Kat kept cooking.
"who's the guy on the couch?" I asked
"that's Brennen." Kat said

I giggled at the quiet snores coming from the couch. About 5 minutes later Brennen woke up. He walked over to the kitchen and sat next to me.
"hi I'm Brennen." he said.
"I'm Ash." I said.
"nice to meet you." Brennen said.
"you too."I replied.
"What was it like, if you don't mind me asking?" Brennen asked
"being a hostage?" I asked
Brennen nodded.
"well, the only people I saw were Max and his freak friends. And I never went outside." I said
"how many friends?" Brennen asked
"well there was Elliott who has a lot of weapons and stuff, then there's Tate who's good at stealing stuff, and Dax who's just straight up scary, and now Max has a new friend named Marcus he does hypnosis i guess." I said.
"and that's how the got you yesterday?" Brennen asked
I nodded my head.
"how long were you kept inside for?" Brennen asked
"2,190 days." I said.
"jeez." Brennen said.
I nodded and a tear rolled down my cheek. Brennen hugged me and I hugged him back and just wiped my tear away. Kat took the cinnamon rolls out of the oven and Sam immediately woke up and then Kat got a call.
"hello?......yes...ok see you soon." Kat said.
"who was that?" Sam asked
"were supposed to go to the police station to meet with officer obrian." Kat said.
"shall we?" I asked
"after you." Kat sad grabbing her keys.
I smiled and we left.
time skip.......
we got to the police station and knocked on officer obrian's office door, but there was no answer. Kat opened the door and officer obrian was sitting in his chair with a bullet hole in his head. I screamed and Kat didn't move I noticed there was a not on his desk. I picked it up and read it.
you shouldn't have run, I'll find you eventually babe.
ps. Elliott had fun using his new toy on obrian.

Tears started to slide down my face. I looked to Kat and she was just standing there with her hands over her mouth.
"It was Elliott, Elliott killed him." I said.
Kat closed the door and got another police to go into the office. Kat and I went home, I walked into the apartment and just sulked to the couch and sat down.
"What happened?" Colby asked.
"It's my fault." I said.
" No its not." Kat said.
"Max told Elliott to do it and its my fault, he had a family." I said starting to cry.
"How do you know he had a family?" Kat asked.
" I saw a picture of him with his wife and kids on his desk." I said.
" What happened?" Sam asked
"Elliott killed officer obrian." I said.
"The one with the guns and stuff?" Brennen asked.
I nodded and Brennen looked sad.
"I need to leave here." I said.
"No." Colby said.
"He's going to hurt you guys." I said.
There was a knock at the door I sat down and Colby answered it. Standing there was Marcus and Dax.
"Sleep" I heard.
Colby hit the floor with a thud.
"Leave!" I said.
"Are you coming with us the easy way or the hard way?" Dax said with his terrifying stare.
I started to walk towards him.
"no!" Brennen said.
"shut up!" Dax yelled at Brennen.
I walked a little further.
"why are you doing this?" I asked
"what?" Marcus asked
"why don't you guys just go on the run? they won't catch you, why do you need me?" I asked
"Max messed around and got attached, he won't leave without you." Dax said.
"I'm not going." I said slamming the door on Marcus and Dax's faces. I locked it.
"call the cops!" I said.
" Already did." Brennen said.
"we need to go now." I said.
"where?" Sam asked.
"New York, to my mom." I said.
Kat nodded. Colby started to move on the ground and finally stood up. the banging on the outside of the door stopped when sirens started sounding near us.
"I'll bring you." Brennen said.
"really?" I asked
Brennen nodded.
"I'm in too." Sam said.
"me too." Colby said standing up.
I nodded and that is where we started our journey.
