Chapter 2: THE GOD GLADIATOR

[The crowd went dead silent when the sword hit the ground]

That is the rule of Rome; a house will be standing alone that all the others fear but no one knows why.

I know you say I am crazy, well you will be neither the first nor the last who think so, but for one coin and a drink of cold water I will tell you the story.

The story of the gladiator; who faced gods and lived to tell the tale.

It all started twenty years ago...

The emperor was at war but he was not worried, for he had the best strategist in all of Rome, Ladon the strategist that they say Athena herself the goddess of strategy and tactics tell him what to do in battle.

The man that single handedly finished a war that lasted years with nothing but a small squad and his ingenuous brain.

The emperor called his servant

"Bring me Ladon immediately"

"Yes my lord" the servant said with a scared tone

He never saw the emperor this angry in his life

As a servant who stayed most his life with the emperor he was surprised to see him lose his temper that easy because of something that Ladon said

The servant ran as fast as possible to get Ladon from his room.

His room was a beautiful room he made himself with the engineers.

It was a beautiful room, once you enter it you would feel like you dived into the ocean , the sheets of the bed is degrees of blue and the curtains in a shade of light blue with gorgeous painting of the sky on the selling.

He; Ladon was sitting on the ground of the balcony

Looking to the ocean.

"What bring you here dear Atlas" said Ladon in a calm tone

"I ...eh ...the emperor asked to see you at once my lord"

"Atlas what did I tell you about calling me lord or sir?" said Ladon In a blaming tone

"Sorry si-"

"What did I say" said Ladon with a smile

"Ahh sorry Ladon"

"Now what does the emperor want of me?"

"I don't know Ladon but he is very very angry"

"Ah he must have thought of what I said" Said Ladon in an understanding tone

"I don't know but be careful" said Atlas in a scared tone

"Don't worry old friend I am always ready" said Ladon with a big smile

And with that Ladon left the room to see the emperor.

Leaving Atlas to his own thoughts walking near a wall that look freshly painted and remembering the first day that Ladon showed up.

It was in the dead of the night he came to the front doors of the palace saying that he want to see the emperor.
