'Stella,' Derek lightly tapped her shoulder as they stood outside her house. 'I am not carrying you inside, wake up!' A whisper shout was all it took for the girl to shoot up again.
'Up!' She screamed, looking worriedly next to her just to find a laughing Derek. 'We're here,' he informed, looking outside and back to the girl. 'Oh,' she was rather disappointed, she actually kind of started to like his company. She opened the door. 'Goodnight,' she said, closing the car door behind her as she walked inside.
She had her hand on the door handle when she heard him, 'You did good today, Stella', she smiled to herself and looked back just to see Derek smile back at her through the car window.
'Stella! Where have you been?!' Her dad and little brother sat at the table, eating another take away meal. 'It... I went training with Jackson,' she responded, saying sorry to the both of them before filling a plate with the Chinese food her dad had picked up. 'Let something know next time, not sick anymore?' Her dad asked, clearly concerned with his daughter. 'No, I've been feeling just fine,' she answered before propping her mouth full with food. Stiles giving her a suspicious look all the while she did so.

'I'll give you a lift, you're going to be late,' Stiles passed by her on the stairs almost pushing her off. 'I still don't understand why dad gave you a car instead of me,' she responded, following behind him into his jeep. 'Yeah well, you have the bigger room and he calls you darling, you know what he calls me? Stiles.' They both got in the car, as they debated on who gets the most spoiled by their dad.
When they arrived at school it was pretty obvious that she would be spending the day with Scott and Stiles, as soon as they got out the car, Scott came running, talking about some alpha and this and that, not giving a Stella a change to leave, she found herself rather interested in the whole drama now that she was part of it.
'I really don't understand any of this,' the girl chimed in after Scott's entire explanation about the whole situation. 'Okay, I will make it simple, Scott got bitten, Derek is trying to train him but only to find the alpha. The alpha wants for Scott to kill his friends so he becomes stronger and can help kill everyone, good?' Stiles simply said, he smiled as if it all wasn't a big deal.
'It doesn't sound all that good, no,' she responded, making a face at the thought of Scott killing someone.
'I thought you weren't interested?' It was Scott that spoke this time, giving a weird look at the girl. 'Well, I get interested when I hear that someone wants you, Scotty boy, to kill my little brother,' the situation got a little hostile as Scott looked the girl in the eye. 'I would not,' Scott inhaled for a second before angrily finishing his sentence, 'kill Stiles.' Stella just nodded, giving him a small smile. The bell rang just as Stella passed her classroom, chemistry first.
'You seem to be doing better,' Jackson came to sit next to her, taking his books out of his bags. 'Yeah, I think the flu is over,' she smiled softly, he wasn't the best company but at least he was company. And of course, if Jackson was there, Danny followed soon.
'Oh hi! I was wondering something,' Danny sat down in front of them, turning his head over his shoulder to watch Stella. 'So, you are better and well, Jackson doesn't want to come, but would you be willing to go to well the gay club with me on tonight? You're always fun to party with,' Stella quickly nodded a yes before mr. Harris walked in and the class started.
'Can you hear me?' It was the voice of Scott that suddenly creeped into Stella's mind. 'I know you can, I smelled it on you,' he spoke in a whisper, that was clear.
Stella started to look around, but Scott was nowhere to be seen. 'Don't tell him,' she whispered. 'What did you say?' Jackson turned to face her, giving her a confused look. 'Just thinking out loud,' she smiled at him, turning back to her book after taking another look around.
She didn't see Scott for the rest of the day and her free period saved her from the car ride home with her little brother, who by now probably did know about her being this creature.
It had been on her mind a lot, the way Stiles had told her that Derek only cared for Scott because he needed him to kill the alpha. At some point, she would've hoped that he broke her shoulder and slashed her collarbone to help her, not himself.
And that being said, what was happening with her collarbone? It had healed rather quickly but there was still a swollen red line across it. She had seen Scott heal completely, so why wasn't she?
She wouldn't think about it tonight though, tonight she would be having fun with Danny. In a gay club. So, maybe she didn't have a chance at a hook up, but at least she could see Danny happy and well, there are a lot of half naked men to look at, right? She quickly put on a dress and a little make up, you never know, maybe she did have a chance tonight.
