Stella heard Derek pull up outside, before she had even put on any clothes.

She thought about him standing in the front of his car, and looking up to see Stella through her window, in nothing but a towel. She had her back turned to the window as she grabbed a shirt from her bed, and she hoped he was watching as she dropped her towel on the floor.

She smiled softly to herself when she practically felt his stare burning into her neck, she just knew he would be watching.

She grabbed a pair of sweatpants, pulling those up as well before she looked across the room. On her desk chair was the t-shirt he had given her the first time the decently met.

Should she give that back? She didn't want to, she kind of wanted to keep it as close to her as possible, as a memory, or just a way of knowing that Derek was still there with her.

Derek opened the passenger door in silence, not even glancing at her when she finally got out the front door, he had already seen enough when she was still in her room.

He knew it was wrong, to look and keep looking, but he took the raise in her heartbeat as a sign that she knew exactly that that was what he was going to do.

'Good day to you too,' she remarked at the lack of saying hi, and Derek realised that she was going to be moody the entire day. Instead of reacting, he just mumbled something under his breath, to which Stella of course rolled her eyes.

'Stay here for a second,' Derek finally spoke as he parked at the high school, confusing the hell out of Stella, who had been silent the entire ride.

Stella felt like she had shared to much, she did enjoy the texts the day before, but now that she actually saw him for the first time since she explained whatever went on a year ago, she now had the need to close of completely.

After all, she just had to train, right? And when she has done that, they will just part ways to never talk again. She just needed to help him out now, and it would be done.

'Why the hell are we here? Its sunday, you know,' she commented back, to which Derek just gave a stern look.

Stella rolled as he closed the car door behind him, walking off. She stared at him for a second, something was really off with him.

As he turned around the corner, Stella made sure to stay in the car. Her curiosity was getting the best of her though, what would Derek find in the school that would keep her from turning into a murderous monster?

It took a while for the man to get back, and when he finally did he was holding a small piece of silver in his hand, throwing it up and down in the most casual way.

Stella couldn't hide the smirk that grew on her face everytime she saw Dereks face, even if it wasn't pointed at her in the slightest bit.

She had to admit that she was starting to see him more of a friend than just someone she or he was helping, it used to be casual flirting between them, but now it seemed to have become complicated in a matter of one night.

Maybe she should have never asked him to stay that night.

He opened the car door once again, looking Stella up and down. She had a confused look on her face, but her lips were still slightly upward. If he ignored the death glare her eyes gave off, he would be thinking she wasn't in such a bad mood.

He didn't understand why she was in a bad mood anyway, the other second she was undressing while she knew he was looking, and just him not saying a simple hello pissed her off?

'Here,' he said as he handed the piece of steel to Stella, who grabbed it quickly and started examining it as if the answer to all her question were somehow written on there.

'You have that on your back,' Derek stared at the way her fingers patted over the symbol, and he remember the first time he had held it.

'I do. Its a way my family taught us control,' he started, still staring at her as she looked at it. He knew she was anything but naive, so lying to her about how powerful it is, would be near impossible.

'You said you learned control by finding a specific feeling to keep you down,' she debated, yet she still felt hopeful, she was new to this, so she should give everything a change.

'I did, but my siblings did it this way,' he seemed sad at the mention of siblings, of which he now had none left. 'How does it work?' She responded, not wanting to probe him about his sister.

'It's a supernatural talisman, the spirals each mean something, in many causes it means father, mother, child. For this it means alpha, beta, omega. Each one of those can become one another, a beta can become an alpha, a alpha can become a beta, and so on.' Stella eyed it suspiciously, listening closely to Dereks voice.

'When young beta's, or new ones, learn control, this helps. Reciting the mantra will help you regain control over your shifts,' he spoke, hoping she believed at least one word he said.

'So you can keep it, for as long as you need it,' he finally added when she didn't react, at that she looked up. Her eyes were kind of soft and he could see that it meant something to her.

'Derek, there isn't a lot of you know, your family left, maybe you should keep this,' she debated, not willing to keep it away from him.

'I don't need it anymore, Stella, you might have noticed I kind of am in control now,' he said sarcastically, pushing her hand that was already trying to give it back away.

'You sure?' She wondered, inspecting it once again. 'Yes,' he said as he started the car, looking sideways to see her smile.

'Before you think I believe anything about a talisman, I don't, werewolves is bad enough, but I will give it a chance,' she smiled, now looking up at Derek, who's eyes were reflecting the sun beautifully.

'Don't loose it, now let's get to the actual training part, huh?' He asked her, driving backwards as she said a simple okay before tucking away the triskelion.
