DO NOT compare yourself to other writers! If you do so, you won't show your true potential. I had this problem when I was younger, where I compared myself to these amazing writers out there. That caused me to (one) not finish a single book I wrote, (two) it caused low self-esteem, (three) it caused me to not show my true efforts in writing. The list can go on and on. But the point is to not allow yourself to be compared to another in that creative mind of yours.
